It really is just a choice, between love and fear. It's one or the other, nothing more to think about, forget everything you know. Love lets you open up, fear forces you to close off. Most people live in fear, they are closed off from the truth.
How do you pray for someone when they need you? I believe we are all one spirit connected but when one body you know well is in pain or dieing of a cancer how do you help them? are your good thoughts alone enough just being put out there? As for being depressed and human sufferering, its perception that we create as our reality. If you heal yourself you can then help heal those around you.
@eclipsedv1 What kind of meditation are you doing? Try Transcendental Meditation from Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. Do a quick youtube research on it. This meditation saved me from my drug additions. It gives you bliss. Don't think that meditation alone will get you out of depression. Meditate, then do things around, stay occupied, do activities that you like, play sports. Meditation is like pulling back the arrow. There's no point of pulling the arrow without letting it go forward in activity. Peace!

How many people here have actually seen the ride first-hand? Honestly this type of philosophy sounds exactly like the organized religion everybody makes fun of. Where is the proof that we are all one? I've meditated for a while now and still feel depressed as hell every single day. Where is this so called bliss of existing as one being and why can't I find it. It seems just like the Jesus figure that Christians wait for to save them. The only thing I know for certain is that life is comprised of intense suffering. That is the only fact to me.

@eclipsedv1 What kind of meditation are you doing? Try Transcendental Meditation from Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. Do a quick youtube research on it. This meditation saved me from my drug additions. It gives you bliss. Don't think that meditation alone will get you out of depression. Meditate, then do things around, stay occupied, do activities that you like, play sports. Meditation is like pulling back the arrow. There's no point of pulling the arrow without letting it go forward in activity. Peace!
