Does anyone know how I can get hold of the piano sheet music for this song.
I really like this haunting and hypnotic version of the song and have looked eveywhere for it on internet, amazon with no luck!! be grateful for any help.
Oh thank GOD! I was looking for this song, I plan to use this version in a play I am writing.... And i came upon the worst thing ever.......-deep breath- the Hannah Montana version of this song..... It made my ears bleed, but now this song has healed them
Dead Like Me was the first time I heard this version of the song. My mom used to sing the Doris Day version for me as a kid, so this was a very different, but very cool version of the same song.
Never heard this before the day I watched "Mary & Max" on my laptop... on a train from Paris to Milan. Don't know if it was all the wine I drank or just the sheer awesomeness of that movie, but this song just cut through me. Bravo! Bravo! Sheer talent by Pink and sheer brilliance by director Adam Eliot for making it an important part of the movie. It's wonderful to watch pros at the top of their game...
Between Dead Like Me and Mary & Max, this song sounds dark and gloomy. Haunting is the perfect description for this piece. It really has a lasting impression on you.
The instrumental bridge, and the recurring "the future's not ours to see/what will be will be" is SO dooms-dayish, I can see all of earth's human contingent walking into the light of the bombs of 2012 armageddon...lovely! Thanks for posting; I also heard it in "Dead like Me" and wondered where on earth I could find it!
I first heard this song during the pilot of Dead Like Me and like mostly everyone I cried. I can't believe I finally found the song after so long. Thanks ^_^
When I first heard this song it was a different version and it annoyed me a little. Don't know why.
But when I heard this version on "Dead Like Me" I cried my eyes out. It probably was the setting but still I like this version better than the other one...might be by Doris Day.
But anyhow, thank you for uploading this! I like it.
@crysxia I can see how it is creepy though. The piano and those chimes on their own could be in a horror movie. Interesting combo with an insightful song.
Makes me think of a little girl sneaking up behind me with a knife. beautiful and terrifying.

I absolutely love this version of the song. As it has been said before, it's just so haunting.
I remember when I first saw Dead Like Me and this starts playing when she has to take the soul of the little girl and take her to the afterlife.

The dissonance is slightly frightening in this generally happy song, but it is quite effective, especially in the show cited by Segarr.

This was mentioned in my (current) favorite book "Shadowfever", by Karen Marie Moning. It was perfect for what the character was feeling.
