I have a 1974 Super Bettle and i took the fuel filter line off of the fuel pump as well as the other hose that is connected to it and i cannot remember which hose went to the top of the fuel pump and which one went to the bottom. Can Any body help me!! it would be greatly appreciated.
If you're trying to drift, a Beetle isn't what you're after. It'll be worlds easier and cheaper if you buy one of the more common cars used for drifting. Beetles aren't even close to ideal for a drift car.
get your self a big old plymouth sports fury or any big old 60-70s muscle classic they drift very well get the ass end out around a turn and you can get them compeletly sideways.
yeah, old cars, to me at least, are way better than new ones. you dont need brake assist, traction control and a bunch of other BS, thats for pansy asses, new cars do all the driving for you. Real drivers drive real cars.
@that70sshow89 You are so right. Although my mom drives a 1994 Jeep Cherokee XJ and she is 53. She says to me. I love my truck Thomas. Real cars let YOU do the DRIVING. Not these, Mamby pamby cars they have out. My mom drove a Cobalt for a day and said to the dealer get this peice of shit out of here. I want my Jeep back. I laughed my ass off. Our Jeep is like a Herbie in SUV form. :) Couldn't imagine life without it. Alot of milestones with the car. :)
haha we have a 1973 super beetle sitting on bricks after a motor rebuild (no idea what went wrong this time until next week) and we were planning to install a totally rebuilt engine from motorworks. Any suggestions?

Are you using the 2 tip eurosport exhaust?
Bladeserpent 2 years ago
Yep.
I'm not sure exactly what brand. It's a few years old, but it's the same design as most other "euro" types of exhaust.

nice sound, what kind of muffler you got running?
cowking7 3 years ago
It's a pretty cheap header that came with the car. It'll be replaced with a real header and a hideaway muffler pretty soon.
hypnolobster 3 years ago
personnaly I'd leave it, for one thing I'm just a fan of the tips comming out in the stock location and two hide away mufflers are to quiet.
