  • so the new crossing is also pantograph compatible? does this suggest that Riga will be phasing out trolley poles on the current tram fleet?

  • Yes! Rigas Satiksme will use Škoda 15T pantograph trams together with T3A, T3M(T6B5) and T3MR pole trolleys. The exisiting trams will not equiped with pantographs, only new.
