@Racki It could be that you need to try re-plugging your controller into the system due to a connection error. It could also be a broken c-stick causing the issue. The game itself would not do this.

Thanks a lot! A new controller did the work. But do you know why the game freezes when I use the binocular the first time, right after I get it from my sister. And do you know how I get out of the binocular-mode? First I can zoom in and out and do a vertical and diagonal “scroll”, but suddenly I cant move at all, and no button on the controller responses, not even “start”.

@Racki Well, maybe the disc is dirty/scratched or you need to try restarting your game cube. I've never experienced that problem.

@JakesSupport The good news is that Wii's are getting super cheap now, and by the time the Wii U is out, they'll probably be $100, unless the WIi U has Game Cube compatibility, then I'd hold off for a Wii U.

Game Cubes cost around $30 here in the U.S. at stores like gamestop or ebay, so hopefully you could find something for cheap.

@boundingJaguar8 Yes and no. When you beat the game it allows you to create a new game with some more secrets. To free roam, just beat everything up to the fight before Ganon (the person), and you're allowed to explore as you please. So you don't have to beat the game to free roam.

@kaju29050 I use a Dazzle for windows. It's made by pinnacle and you can find it next to the game controllers at a store like Best Buy. I use Windows Movie Maker for capturing the recording rather than the Pinnacle software. You might need to get a couple composite cables if you want to view it on your TV as well. I just plug my game console cables into my TV and use my TV's output feature to send the signal to my Dazzle using a composite cable.
