Nothing man their is lot of difference between Om and Ik Onkar Sikhism is a seperate religion from Hinduism Although we do'nt disrespect any religion we respect all religions our ways,beliefs are way different from Hinduism Beliefs are although similar to Islam but their is lot of difference between Islam and sikhism as well

Can someone explain the difference between Sikhism and Islam? I find so many similarities in this religion... believe in one true immortal and God is one. Sikh believe in teachings of the Gurus.... but Islam believe in the teachings of the prophets... Can I practice both religion since its believe in One true Immortal god.

@zulcarey Uh, no you cannot practice both. Although both are monotheistic religions, there are many many differences in the teachings described in the Guru Granth Sahib and the Quran. Doing a little research would probably help you.

@zulcarey yes you can, don't listen to "bringing....". I believe in one true GOD, and i find Quran, Bible, and Guru Granth Sahib Ji to be very helpful as they talk about one true GOD. I see my gurus as islam's prophets, because their main goal was to lead the humans towards loving GOD.

the very first verse of SGGS say's IK OMKAR which mean's 1 god

second SGGS say's SAT NAAM which mean's the name of god is "TRUE"
