For now, Davao City has a good reputation as being the cleanest and safest city in Asia. I hope that after 2010 elections and for the years that will go by, it will stay that way. I also wish that Davao City will have high rise building amd become modern like Makati City. To tell the truth, I think Makati City is the most beautiful city (the West part at least). Very, very neat and modern.

Makati is nice place except for the smoking ban and the squatter areas between the buildings not shown.Love the Philippines lots and felt I left my heart behind when visited there.Pinoys are fantastic people and very industrious.God bless the Philippines.

I've lived in Makati for 2 years, its great and all. But its VERY hot compared to my old house in Quezon City. Back in QC when we had a "brownout" we wont suffocate unlike here in makati.
