@thomaskriaras different grimlock, they just share the same name. rid is one of those universe things. animated is its own universe; technically g1,g2, and the beast era are one in the japanese timeline headmasters, supergod masterforce, victory, beastwars II and NEO ; armada, energon and cybetron(aka the unicron trilogy) ; and of course the bayformers (shudders) are there own. they all have similar beings or share names but are seperate entities. universe covers that.

If I remember correctly, on Hightower (and maybe Heavy Load as well) had some extra tab looking things near his shoulders that could flip out. I always assumed that they were used for the combined mode. Are they used for the arm modes that weren't shone?

You have blown my mind for showing me how to center the gun and that configuration of Grimlock! I never thought of doing those on that way!

This is probably my favorite combiner set thanks to the great engineering. I love how the limb components work with either one of them being either leg or the arms. Much better than the G1 combiners in my opinion.
