  • Hi Leah, my name is Riley and i've been playing the flute for eleven years now! I love it, and I hope you stick to it!! If you or your family wants to know more about the types of flutes, visit my friend's blog named Flutes Forever; the link is found at the top channel comment on my channel page.

  • She has a nice attack in her articulation. Very well done. (That's exactly how I started!).

  • It is an alto flute, a bass flute is longer

  • @flutist4440 omg, its not an alto, way way too small, its just a normal flute with a curved head joint

  • my flute does not look likethat at all

  • what kind of flute is that mine don't look anything like that!

  • it has a curved headjoint, as many children use because their arms/fingers simply arent long enough for a full length flute

  • hahahaha...very cute, very nice. Put a smile on face tonight! Thanks for sharing.

  • if i may ask what type of flute is that hun?

by the way keep up the great work! :]]

  • It is a regular flute with a curved headjoint (used because she is too small to reach the keys otherwise) :) We really need to add new video; Leah has improved so much and is in book 2 Suzuki now!

  • also known as a bass to they look like that

  • Bass flutes are about 2 times (or more) bigger than that. That is an elementary flute so that smaller children can play the flute. And bass would sound kinda low and howling XD

  • Hey Leah! I'm 12 and I've been playing flute for 3 years. I'm currently a 1st flute in class. GREAT TONGUEING!!! KEEP IT UP!
