Kind of disappointed Grohl actually supports the motherfucker who's signed the latest NDAA, continued Bush's wars, still has Guantanamo bay open, still allows corporations to rule the US... Yeah, I guess it's all about listening to the music but often trying to ignore the musician's political views.
I have been in the music business for over 20 years, and never have I heard someone with a more astonishing and beautiful voice. You are a gift from God and everytime I hear you sing it brings tears to my eyes. Thank you ever so much for sharing your gift with the world. I am very excitied to see you on the cover of every magazine and top Billboard chart in the near future, you have a great career ahead of you keep up the good work.
There were two awesome parts of this. The first was when Paul says "The White House!" The second and foremost was seeing Jerry Seinfeld singing on stage with Paul.
I just watched this clip, and during the end, I see the Jonas Brothers and.I.got.so.PISSED. I was like, WTF? The Jonas Brothers have NO RIGHT to be on the same stage as Sir Paul.
@weasel22king Oh, shut up. Seriously. Paul McCartney HIMSELF asked them to be there and cover Drive My Car. And guess what? He loved their performance! They are talented. Get over it.
I think its a great idea to hold this concert- its a good time for people to unite and do something peaceful and fun like sing inspiring music. Music is something the whole world can enjoy regardless of politics and other things. Paul is a musical genius- writing so many good song and promoting good things like peace and love all just because he and 3 other awesome guys loved music Paul with no college education from an average family has changed music and the world with the other 3 Beatles!
Put aside the politics - I've been in stadiums where 60,000 people have sung this in unison. Old, young, white, black, Asian Hispanic - is there any other song that can unite so many people? Is there any other person other than Paul McCartney who has brought as much joy to the world?
