It isn't from .hack. The three tracks "Cynical World", "Fiction" and "Vanity" are songs exclusively composed for Kajiura's album "Fiction", they never appeard in any anime series, at least not as far as I know, and I'm pretty sure about this.
Yea I kinda like and hate this song too.. i like the lyrics and the music but i think it could be done a little more.. rhythm..y... about half way everything just seems kind of randomly said/placed
there are songs where I know 'This is Yuki!' but sometimes she creates songs that are.... untypical? well different ! but still her, only a genius like her is able to do something like this.
