if u buy this, u want to start prying open and the flexing the trigger guard retention area so your pistol will be easier to draw. The retention level out of the package is crazy! Just doesn't want u to have ur pistol. But after loosening the trigger guard, it is a lot easier to draw mine...and I've had it only 24 hours
Yeah man those external holsters are really more meant for open carry versus concealed carry. I did just buy the one you're presenting and waiting for it to come it. If you're looking for a GREAT concealed carry I would highly recommend the Crossbreed Supertucks. I have one each both of my pistols and I don't see a need for another holster. I wanted a OWB holster for my Beretta to open carry because depending on what I wear its harder to conceal that one. So check out the Crossbreeds
I was considering getting this for my Taurus Millennium Pro PT111 as a conceal carry, but as you pointed out in this video it does seem to have quite a wide profile. I'm having the same issue with my BlackHawk Serpa for my XDM. I may pick it up nonetheless as you mentioned it would be a good around the house/OC and range holster. The price point is nice too.
Yeah I picked one up....not the best buy I think but its not the worst either. I have a slim body type and 168 pounds and the thing cant even stay in my pants when I tryed to draw it. I have to cinch my belt down pretty tight for it to work properly. Concealment was another thing. I can only conceal it with a button up shirt. all in all, range and around the house use only. Nice video man. I only wish I knew this info sooner.
Are you able to get your 9mm out of there easily? I have a Walther P22 and I've had this holster for a few years and it's crazy-hard to remove from the holster unless you have your belt so tight your blood won't even flow.
@jonny12384 Paddle holsters don't usually - the paddle goes inside the waistband, with actual holster part, on the other side of the trousers, effectively negating the need for a belt attachment.
@gunmaster1119 They have alot of holsters i bet they have one for that pistol. I would just do some checking around. They have a website you should look up.
wow , i bought one for my sig sauer mosquito. i am having a heck of a time removing the pistol. how did you get your to remove so easily? is there some trick besides what thie instructions say. i am a new hand gun owner.
Thanks I was looking at getting one off eBay but I think it wouldn't work for me. I'm 6"2 240 but I carry full size ruger p944 its a 40 Cal. Thanks again it was really helpful.
i've had the same problem, im 6'7" 180 lb and with this thing on i have to wear winter coat to not print. (with a glock 27) but it is a nice holster for house/range/ etc.
I've owned a few paddle holsters and liked them for when I have clothes covering the handgun, but I would never open carry a gun in public without some sort of retention, anyone can walk up behind you and its theirs. I'm 5'11 and 160lbs and I carry my Glock 19 (I have even carried a Hi-Point 9mm in a paddle! It was heavy and bulky as hell!!) and the glock seem to like it, but When it comes summer time again I'll go IWB. Also, you will get flamed for not clearing/unloading your firearm...

Agree totally on this -- these are terrible for concealed carry...get a good open top, leather, OWB like DeSantis

When you have a firearm that has a high capacity double stack magazine, this holster is what it is. The Fobus KTP11 works great with my LC(.
Good Video
God Bless

I hate paddle holsters. They have no retention device and the gun always feels like its going to fall out.

fobus is ok....but BLACKHAWK makes some of the best tactical holster...a bit more expensive but well worth every penny...

I have always had an impression with the fobus holsters...how easy is for a person to go behind your back and grab your gun?
tks.

I use a very similar holster for my XD40 made by XDGEAR. I use it without a belt. It's a great conceal holster. I'm 6' and 225.
