I can't wait to see what my setup produces this coming season. I'm basically running a very similar setup to what John ran in his car when he running 8.50's back in 05'-06'. Thats wh. PPG/Shep dogbox, GT4202, same drivetrain,similar cylinder head setup & cams, similar shortblock, etc... John seems to believe it should be good for 8.80's maybe better. Guess we'll just have to see. John gave me a ton of helpful info when I built this car But this video gets me stoked. Can't wait for spring!

One thing to mention is look at the car hes racing against!? Its basically a pro stock car! Aerodynamic, etc.. John has a STOCK body!! lol

Yes , but difficult to see who got the launch by that inside the shepard car cam video..You can see the stang pull away at the 1/8. (I am referring to the 7.70 vid run not this one for the uninitiated)
