I have have ALL (leukemia) ph+ chromosome and had a transplant. My team was unable to find a match so they did a double umbilical cord stem cell transplant. I relapsed a year later and repeated process. They added Sprycel (I had previously relapsed with Gleevec) and I've been in remission for almost 2 years now- miracles DO happen!!!
wow, you must be kidding me...why bother living....my oncologist wants me to do this after my 3 recurrence of NHL...no way in god's green earth I would do a bone marrow transplant, not after hearing the horrible side effects...why would anyone put themselves in this position? I'd rather die from the cancer...than live for months even years through this....
