So, when a group that is part of an official nation drops bombs on civilians. That's not terrorism? Or is that related to that clinical phrase called " collateral damage?"
yes you dont just start sending just missles out there because that will be stupid. But you need a presence of all kind of force. But for me "dont bomb whole nations" means that dont invade them. Then if you dont then how are you going to get the terrorists out of there.
Israel had more wars than you think in the last 8 years. And they were needed too.
War is bad but in this worl we some times need it. To stop war everyone needs to disarm at once.
War is a very big business, so in this world more and more often people are going to claim that "we need it".
To stop war everyone does not need to disarm at once. There only needs to be organizations that are more powerful than nations to prevent them from using aggression. And I don't mean police orgs. or world gov. orgs. I mean smart institutions of leverage that inhibit national aggression and the large industry that backs it.
And fill us in on every Israeli war in the past 8 years...
Ok one nation disarms and onother attacks it and the organizations cant do nothin about it but to say stop. Just like NATO. It has to be a joined affort.
You bomb terrorists in disputed border regions, or you use intelligence and police action to arrest or kill them. Although bombing will almost always be counterproductive because terrorists hide amidst civilians.
Israel doesn't "have wars all the time" with countries that back terrorism, although they have in very few cases done so... in my view these were mistakes.
For countries that "sponsor" certain terrorist organizations, there are much better solutions than bombing them.
this is stupid. this dude needs to do more research or just watch the news. Israel has wars all the time with nations that back terrorism. Nice comparison of a train with few hundred people to buildings with few thousand people, wow. also how do you get terrorists out of a country that sponsers them. dont confuse Iraq with Afganistan. Iraq was a mistake and it was not a terrorist nation, on the other hand Afganistan was a terroris ruled nation. How do you bomb terrorist this guys way???
Afghanistan was a special case that is still unresolved because bombing and invasion is a sloppy/brutish solution. Much more detailed solutions involving police/intelligence actions and probably even international organizations are required.
Complex international problems require intricate detail, not violent self-perpetuating simplicity.
bombing nations in response to terrorism is rather absurd.

Who are "the terrorist?"
gizmo2084 3 years ago
"The terrorist" is any group (or member of this group) using organized violence that is not officially a nation.
Most powerful enough nations are still able to use organized violence with impunity.
All organized violence needs to be increasingly stopped.
