stone cold beating mike tyson in a match, ROFL, no chance in a billion years, Mike Tyson is crazy as heck, his life is not a WWE gimmick, he grew up and was successful in brownsville brooklyn NY, not some lame family of deer hunters, Mike Tyson would in a real fight deliver two punches and fights over, but not taking anything away from Stone Cold, he is tough as heck and one of the most charismatic wrestlers in the WWE, but Mike Tyson, way over Stone Cold's head on that one.

I guess with Shawn Michaels being a different person today all of this would be his doing for the most part. Notice today the way HBK does the DX chop. HBK was the first to do it on WWE TV back in the 90's. I recall hearing how he refuses to do it the way he did during the Attitude Era because of the original intended message and cause he doesn't want his kids to see that behavior from him. I can't even remember the last time I've heard him say "Suck it". Completely different now from then.

Jim Cornette noted that wrestlers used to pretend to get hurt and have everyone buy it whereas today's wrestlers are hurting each other for real and no one buys it, and that's true. @Cyberpit2000 another thing you have to take into account is that they're not wrestling every monday night on raw. they're wrestling at house shows and stuff like that so it's non stop wrestling which can weaken the body over time. They don't get a vacation unless they're really hurt. It's physically grinding.

Whereas people like Jericho never get injured because they know what they were doing in the ring and are in shape. Plus in modern times; select wrestlers can get part time contracts so they are guarenteed a certain amount of time off in the year and can work only a small amount of house shows
