It would appear it is a Laredo model. My 94 Limited with it's quadra trac will have wheel slippage on the front causing a slight squeal of tires not beefed up & 5.2L.

Go to a dragstrip, see how many cars are pulling the front wheels out of the hole (or in the case of AWD/FWD, cutting low 60ft times) and 90% of them will be V-8's, unless you go on ricer night or something.
The original ZJ Grand Cherokee was designed as a concept vehicle by AMC in the mid 80's and designed like the original Cherokee to handle a 6 cylinder engine. A 4.0 Power Tech 6 isnt a slouch in one of these.. it will go 0-6 around 10 seconds. So when Chrysler finally got around to building the ZJ the 90's they decided to stuff one of thier V-8's into it. A light SUV with a big V-8 = lots of fun!
