  • she has such a beautiful face !!!

  • Her best version of this excellent songgggg!!!!!!!! so strongg!!

  • Just to make a point, the microphone of this camera is out in the audience. When you're there the speakers drown out most of the fellow revelers. I know, I was at this show, which I can't believe was 11 years ago. She's only made two albums since then. I want more!

  • If I was there,I would most certainly lose my mind.

  • god all the crown can shut the fuck off ? they don't let me heard

  • All you tightasses need to give it a rest! It is a concert afterall. Irving Plaza is a very intimate venue and the audience is very close to the stage. Besides none of you can tell me that if you were at that concert and heard this minimized version of nightshift you wouldn't go mental as well. Siouxsie turns it -- I've never seen her dance so expressively. Magic energy and fabulous video!

  • I'm going to that concert in Feb. I hope everyone shuts up if she sings this song so I can hear it!!!

  • I've been to concerts where no one says a peep or has any reaction to the artist--- it's a bit sad and quite unmemorable. I can't help but think the artist would be disappointed as well. It's usually nice to see people express themselves at a concert, especially in favor of the artist. Any artist would chose a lively and supportive crowd-- otherwise what would be the point of a 'LIVE' performance.

  • To actually hear the artist live and not a bunch of brutish loud mouths.

  • oh...oh... i m shouter too at concerts,sorry, cant help it.

  • here and there it's ok as long as it doesn't piss off the person singing. ms. J gets pissed if you interefere with her too much. lol.

  • It has little to do with how close the audience is to the stage and everything to do with respecting the artist enough to listen to her and respecting your fellow fans enough to let them hear her. I guarantee I screamed my throat raw when she did NS at Irving last Sat night, but I did it when she wasn't singing.

Oh, but let's not fight. :) Let's just bask in the Sioux-love. *purr* Which is why I'm back at this vid. Tis yummy, tho I think I prefer the balls-out version she did last week. :)

  • I must have been at the other Irving Plz show, because I'd've jumped down from the VIP and killed those loud pricks for ruining one of my fave Banshees songs. >:( Plus I remember her in black and gold and not the outfit from Nocturne. Sorry you had the stupid people at your show.

Voodoo Dolly KICKED. Would love to see that again!

  • She's a babe. The gay guys need to lay off the coke.

  • So fucking loud.. but this is a really good performance for Nightshift.

  • let her sing! god! that would have driven me mad!

  • Yeah the crowd are dumb. But C'mon she's loving it! Give her her 'Diva moment' she'll camp it up with the best of them. A broad exhibitionist like 'Madarm' lives for this kind of crowd adulation! Great to hear a new take on Nightshift.

  • i was at that show...on the front row, how fuckin' cool!!!!

  • New Yorkers dance a lot too... fun times.

  • cant those NY'ers just shut up when an artist sings?

whooo whooo whooo whooo....bunch of barkin'dogs....

  • I must admit to being amused at the sound of men loosin' it and nearly fainting. NOW THAT'S POWER

  • We are quieter in Boston. New Yorkers suffer from a superiority complex. That is their problem

  • lol many New Yorkers feel you guys do. But oh man the audience needs to shut up!

  • They won't f'ing let her sing! This reminds me of Beatlemania in Toronto in 1965. Thousands of incessant screamers...you could barely make out what song the Beatles were playing 'cause of the howling maniacs everywhere.

Come to Vancouver again Siouxsie. We're happy allowing you to sing here in Canada! Not like those f'ing NYC boors who treat you like a flippin' freak show.

  • Actually, it was 1966. I was 11 and my Mom took me and my friend Steve to see The Beatles at Maple Leaf Gardens. The screamers were thousands of pubescent girls. Yes, the Beatles were then, concert-wise,largely a boy band for children!

...But this Siouxsie audience is adults who should know better and show more respect! Well,I'm glad to hear Boston folks are more civilized than these yahoos.

  • Even though we are quieter in Boston that ass photographer who was harassing Siouxsie was in Boston. She kicked the shit out of him though. Poor Siouxsie he sued her for It.

  • did you get the whole show?

  • No, I had a security gaurd hastling me the WHOLE time, I only got this, and some backstage footage. When the same gaurd saw me talking to Siouxsie I said, "See, she doesn't give a shit if I film her, what's your problem??" He wasn't happy, but he wasn't aloud in the VIP room!!! LOL.

  • you should post a torrent of this in better quality somewhere, it is really good! Dimeadozen maybe?

  • too bad you didnt get more. This is great. As long as its ok with Siouxsie, which it sounds as though it was ok.

  • Very interesting though poor quality of the sound. It was nad is one of the best songs of the Banshees.
