My dad has an European '00 Hiace with 2.4 Diesel 2L engine, known as Granvia in Japan (different engine), also avaible with RWD/AWD option. It has a longer front end than the "Original" straight-front Hiace ;) Unbelievably reliable cars they are ;) His ex-1987 Hiace had 500000km on the clock before the head gasket burned (not because of the car but my dad because he didn't change it) and he had to sell it. I recommend Hiace for everyone... Toyota 4ever!

Exactly! I've driven one of these before and even in stock form you can rev the shit out of it and get decent drifts on dry pavement (with a load too!).

Any increase in the engines power output would turn it into an absolute drift missile! No joke!

The engine is normal basically.

It´s too slow!! In Costa Rica only sell with motor diesel "5L" AND "2KD"
