I've had this problem since September 2010. I've repeatly mentioned this to my YouTube supporter who works at YouTube.
They wont admit theres a problem and just say "subscribers should see the videos". In 2010 I had 6,000-7,000 subs and on avaerge got 2,000 views per video easily.
I now have 30,000 subs & struggle to hit 500 views a video and my content has never changed since I started. They need to sort it out asap.
@azuritereaction I will be emailing them tomorrow, this link has also been posted on the Partner forum over at Google for staff members to see. Hopefully something can be sorted. ^_^
Every heard of Support? ... With a huge company as google (yes ate youtube at some point, if you haven't noticed) you can already guess what you get there... standarized answers. They either don't care or their internal procedure is so old school... Maybe we just need a "new youtube" by whoever wants this misery to end quickly. ;)

@azuritereaction yes indeed, i checked your whole page over and you have 100k subscribers and none of your videos break 10k views, until its been on over a month ago. i would say about 5% of people are seeing your video + everyone from related videos. but i had also realized you put out a ton of content, i might have said that this may be the reason (like youtube might have done something to stop a flood of videos taking up everyones feed) BUT hobbs doesnt and the same is happening to him
1) you shouldn't have to do this, it should automatically show uploads: if it doesn't, it's glitched. this video shows that unsubbing then resubbing fixes this, as videos appear that weren't there before.
2) the majority of people who have this glitch and are missing videos *will not see this video from me, so they will never find out any of the fixes possible, as they will not realize they're having the glitch*. That's why I want to pass it around.

I actually just go to my name at the top right corner click subscriptions and scroll through all the videos of all the people that I watch. Never had any problems with anyone :)

@NSACLAN when you have around 500+ people you're subscribed to, you don't generally want to spend 3 hours a day checking every single account by hand, since you want to see videos from them all equally and don't generally prefer any of the channels.
one of many glitches....We was supposed to be famous a long time ago. If it wasn't for the glitches people would be watching our videos like crazy. I figure if they want to see what I post then they will find a way. If not then YT wins this battle but not the war. lol....Don't worry if its meant to be it'll happen when it supposed to....this glitch doesn't make it any easier but the question is if YT uses that to control who becomes popular and who doesn't but they're in charge here i guess.

GO TO YOUR OTHER SUBSCRIBTION BOX. right above click on your username, and then subscribtions. There u have another subscribtion box, where they show ALL your videos. Thats the solution.
I don't get why people are using the front page at all, if you click the top right on your own channel name and then click on "Subscriptions" you get a way better overlook plus you always get all new videos (atleast I do)
I don't have this glitch, all your uploads, and all my other subs uploads show correctly. But I still click you channel anyway to check if it's all ;)
Something weird happens to me on Android that could be related to this glitch. When I've watched all of your videos for the day, the next day they all vanish from the main feed. It doesn't happen with other subscriptions.
@metallicakixtotalass i have 105,000 subscribers and i average about 5k views a video, whereas in 2010, for the same types of videos, i averaged 50k views a video with only 85k subscribers.
i'd definitely say this means the vast majority of my subscribers don't get my videos :P not to mention the numerous messages i've gotten from people who say they haven't seen my videos in a year+, only seeing my stuff on machinima and then finding they hadn't gotten stuff from me.
@azuritereaction While the 5k views seems unusually low, you had posted much less videos before. meaning each was a treat, now with 3+ a day I pick and choose, whereas before I watched each ac ouple times. Now I'm only talking about myself, not how everyone else is. I do know there is the glitch, regardless. I don't see every single video you post.
@sother2 I understand that, but even then, if we were to assume that this was the case, over 3 days I don't usually make up 50k views, and that's with the subscribers I have now, back then I only had 85k and this was when i first started commentary.
At least a good 30-40k of my subscribers have to be from wanting to see commentary stuff, so it's rather odd that even on the "flagship" series, they still only average 10k: that's 75% of subscribers not watching what they subbed for. 0_o
@azuritereaction During 2010 wasn't that when you were still doing your rock band drum videos? Cause that is where you got most of your subscribers from. And with that said I'm not suprised that you only get 5k viewers from your videos since most of thoes people are only intereted in your RB videos or doesn't use that account anymore.
@robin92101 nope, i had stopped doing rock band videos by mid 2010. The only RB video I posted in 2011 was the trololo one.
The 50k views a video i'm talking about were for videos like Syobon Action, LSD, and other commentary videos I did back in mid to late 2010.
It is where I got most of my subscribers from, but most of those people have still stuck around, as evidenced by the high number of comments of people saying "been here since RB1/since 2007" etc.
@azuritereaction Hey, there's some kind of issue with it that I've noticed. Let's say you're subscribed to a few people (as you might be on your account). If you don't watch -insert amount of videos here- from a certain subscription, they'll all the sudden get pulled out of the list and you have to go searching for them elsewhere. It's a pain in the butt.
@azuritereaction There's always the option that you might not have active subscribers, or maybe some of the videos people don't want to watch. I always watch them, but I know there's people that subscribe to channels then don't watch any of their videos.
I think it's YouTube trying to filter subscriptions by interest. I noticed that some of my subscriptions seemed to have disappeared when I neglected to watch them for a while, when they were actually uploading videos fairly frequently.
So there's a possibility that tons of people who subscribed only for your Rock Band videos and didn't bother watching any of your other videos, and that could've caused YouTube to filter you out of their feeds without them noticing.
@azuritereaction It makes sense if YouTube treats re-subs as new subs. That'd mean that re-subbing just resets the filter and features your channel again.
@gamevingw you apparently didn't watch the video then (the reason i subscribed to myself was for stuff like this video, aka tutorials on new youtube layouts, and the reason i like my own videos is because for some viewers, that's the only way they see my videos as they don't show up in their sub feeds)
@azuritereaction one way to fix the glitch (i know it's a pain in the ass but i MIGHT work) to delete your profile make a new one re-upload you video's and start over (i know you won't do this but im just trying to help)
I go directly to your account to look for videos AND your videos show up in my sub box (including this one) and I've never unsubbed from you from last year so HA! *This comment is only my experiance and I know of the sub box "glitch"
I always use /my_subscriptions?feature=mhum, so I always get your videos. Pretty sure I even get them on the main feed to actually, but the more robust feed is a must as I'm subscribed to 500+ channels.
sucks, but that's youtube. There is just so much activity that needs to be refreshed from time to time (billions of views, millions of likes and comments, hundreds of thousands of videos and all this in a single day). no matter how good Google's youtube servers are, it's a f' ton of stuff to process.

I click my name on the top right corner and then I click on subscriptions. It's what I have always done. If I only use the main page, then I miss way to many video's.
I get it off and on, I just click video 5 if I haven't seen video 4 and you have it linked in the annotations, which I thank you for btw. Few of the people I'm subscribed to actually do that.
@Vitaminous i upload less than 30 minutes a day of video, usually only around 15-20 minutes, which is less than a single television show even not even counting commercials.
considering most people watch three or four television shows a day, i don't think 30 minutes is really all that much.
compare that to, again, most people who upload game commentary videos, who upload upwards of 1 to 3 hours of video a day.
@azuritereaction Although it's less than 30 minutes of video, it still feels like an overwhelming amount of content seeing as you focus on more than one game. Rather dozens.
@diegomania20 i do multiple games at once yes, but that's because i'm trying to do variety and cover many people's tastes at once: if i stuck to only 2-3 game series at once, i'd alienate a good portion of my extremely scattered/varied viewerbase.
My point is, most Youtubers do about 5 minutes a week. You post 30 minutes a day of stuff I don't necessarily want to watch anyway. I don't even get that supposed glitch, never have. The new frontpage doesn't favor dumploading nearly as much as it did before and I don't see that as a bad thing, but nothing has gone wrong for me since the new design has been introduced. Of course, I'm not everyone, but whatevs.
@Vitaminous that's fine if you don't want to watch it, but you have to be able to think in other people's shoes: while there are other people who don't want to watch everything i do (and that's fine and to be expected), there are just as many who message me frequently wanting me to put up 5 and 6 videos a day of 30 minutes a video each, saying that amount would "not be that long to watch daily".
that's all i'm saying really, is that i try to strike a balance between the two.
my assumption is that if a subscriber misses several videos (like 10 or so) of a single person, the person's videos will just not show up anymore. since you post a lot of video, the chance of it happening is probably higher. and also, i think another efficient way to not miss videos is to get notified by e-mail so that frequent e-mail users will get them.
Sigh... Dezmond, and people with the glitch: Click your name at the top right, then click on Subscriptions. Problem solved. The homepage is like an overview and glitchy like fuck, while the Subscriptions at the top right shows more "detailed" info, as well as not being glitchy. If that is glitching for you as well, I got no idea.
@xZaKKox right, but the thing is, like most stuff, that 99.9% of people using a service do not explore 99.9% of what the service has to offer.
this is made very obvious on videos where i put extremely relevant information in the video's info box, and then 99.9% of comments don't read that info.
(check Eversion Part 2 for the epitome of this, hundreds of comments of people having not read the second paragraph in the info box).
@azuritereaction On the old analytics page, it showed views that came from the homepage versus the subscription page. I watched it when I released new videos and it was clockwork every time, 90% from the homepage, 10% from the subscription page. That homepage feed is very important.
I never ran into this problem with you, but it happened with someone else I was subbed to. I stopped getting his vids months ago. Later (after I tried re-subbing), his vids would show up, but go away a few hours after uploading (whether I watched them or not).
I just recently fixed it, but I don't know what exactly stopped it (since I did 2 things):
1. I had it set to receive e-mails from Youtube whenever he uploads.
2. I unsubscibed from any closed/suspended channels I was still subbed to.
Everyone saying they get my videos fine, I'm happy for that, but this video does prove that many people probably DON'T get my videos. :( I'm sure this is happening to many others, so please do spread it around!

@azuritereaction It makes sense if YouTube treats re-subs as new subs. That'd mean that re-subbing just resets the filter and features your channel again.

@gamevingw you apparently didn't watch the video then (the reason i subscribed to myself was for stuff like this video, aka tutorials on new youtube layouts, and the reason i like my own videos is because for some viewers, that's the only way they see my videos as they don't show up in their sub feeds)

I always use /my_subscriptions?feature=mhum, so I always get your videos. Pretty sure I even get them on the main feed to actually, but the more robust feed is a must as I'm subscribed to 500+ channels.

sucks, but that's youtube. There is just so much activity that needs to be refreshed from time to time (billions of views, millions of likes and comments, hundreds of thousands of videos and all this in a single day). no matter how good Google's youtube servers are, it's a f' ton of stuff to process.

@Vitaminous i upload less than 30 minutes a day of video, usually only around 15-20 minutes, which is less than a single television show even not even counting commercials.
considering most people watch three or four television shows a day, i don't think 30 minutes is really all that much.
compare that to, again, most people who upload game commentary videos, who upload upwards of 1 to 3 hours of video a day.

My point is, most Youtubers do about 5 minutes a week. You post 30 minutes a day of stuff I don't necessarily want to watch anyway. I don't even get that supposed glitch, never have. The new frontpage doesn't favor dumploading nearly as much as it did before and I don't see that as a bad thing, but nothing has gone wrong for me since the new design has been introduced. Of course, I'm not everyone, but whatevs.

@Vitaminous that's fine if you don't want to watch it, but you have to be able to think in other people's shoes: while there are other people who don't want to watch everything i do (and that's fine and to be expected), there are just as many who message me frequently wanting me to put up 5 and 6 videos a day of 30 minutes a video each, saying that amount would "not be that long to watch daily".
that's all i'm saying really, is that i try to strike a balance between the two.

my assumption is that if a subscriber misses several videos (like 10 or so) of a single person, the person's videos will just not show up anymore. since you post a lot of video, the chance of it happening is probably higher. and also, i think another efficient way to not miss videos is to get notified by e-mail so that frequent e-mail users will get them.

Sigh... Dezmond, and people with the glitch: Click your name at the top right, then click on Subscriptions. Problem solved. The homepage is like an overview and glitchy like fuck, while the Subscriptions at the top right shows more "detailed" info, as well as not being glitchy. If that is glitching for you as well, I got no idea.

@xZaKKox right, but the thing is, like most stuff, that 99.9% of people using a service do not explore 99.9% of what the service has to offer.
this is made very obvious on videos where i put extremely relevant information in the video's info box, and then 99.9% of comments don't read that info.
(check Eversion Part 2 for the epitome of this, hundreds of comments of people having not read the second paragraph in the info box).
So, this is something that DOES affect youtubers.

@azuritereaction On the old analytics page, it showed views that came from the homepage versus the subscription page. I watched it when I released new videos and it was clockwork every time, 90% from the homepage, 10% from the subscription page. That homepage feed is very important.

I never ran into this problem with you, but it happened with someone else I was subbed to. I stopped getting his vids months ago. Later (after I tried re-subbing), his vids would show up, but go away a few hours after uploading (whether I watched them or not).
I just recently fixed it, but I don't know what exactly stopped it (since I did 2 things):
1. I had it set to receive e-mails from Youtube whenever he uploads.
2. I unsubscibed from any closed/suspended channels I was still subbed to.
