The ensemble is terrific, and the sound spectacular, subtle where needed. The soloists are really spot on too. There is no skimping on quality; there is obvious enjoyment , completely absent is any display of tyranny by Dudamel. He rightly looks so confident in his players. What an example to the whole world from this emerging South American country; the vision they have in El Sistema is being followed assiduously to its remarkable conclusion.
