I guess i meant that now they can address the problem, work with him and everything. Now that they know, they can use different learning methods and such that will help him in school now that they know what has been causing him trouble
For the entire show, Theo has come off as academically lazy and his parents thought so also. So when Theo was diagnosed with dyslexia, his parents were happy to know that he wasn't really stupid all of these years.
They should have posted the part when Vanessa comes in and adresses Cliff and Clair about what they did to him, not knowing previously that he was dyslexic. Anyone remember that part?
One of the funniest parts of this episode was when Vanessa pointed out the many times that Cliff and Clair punished Theo for getting bad grades, and that it was probably all because of his dyslexia.
Of course, this episode was clearly written with Ennis Cosby (Bill's son, who was also dyslexic) in mind, just like the series finale where Theo graduates from NYU. So it's hard to watch without thinking about how tragic it was that Ennis was murdered about 10 years ago.
This was the episode that changed my life. My daugther was in fifth grade when she was diagnosed Iam a strong advocate for her. I send this message to parents with childeren with dyslexia never stop fighting for whats right.
That is very beautiful what you wrote. You should be a motivational speaker to all the students in special ed, to never stop believing in themselves. I was in special ed, and I had a lot of hard times in my life. Now, I'm a college graduate, and now ready to compete in the real world.

But slavery was not even an issue when the American Civil War broke out.
Maryland & Delaware were slave states fighting for the United States until the end of the war. West Virginia broke away from Virginia because the Emancipation Proclamation only freed the slaves in the States that were at war with the United States. So West Virginia joined the United States as noncombatant slave state.
This is another classic episode. This episode is a true story of Bill Cosby's son, Ennis who was diagnosed with dyslexia. Another groundbreaking episode, and a lot of people should take notice.
I think they're excited because Theo had always made poor grades in school. They thought he wasn't trying hard enough. Now they know there is a reason and that he can get help.
This is helping me with my project! AWESOME!!!

This was a good episode. I noticed Vanessa wore glasses in this episode, but she never wore them in any other episode. I wonder why?

Yeah, it is very sad that Dr. Cosby lost his only son to gun violence. I know America was mourning with the Cosby family.

New York abolished slavery in 1832.
