oh yeah, dont get me wrong, she is absolutley flawless. you see karate done half heartedly and badly a lot! (mainly and im sorry to say it but by westeners) but its really good to see it perfected! so does she compete in combat awell?

that is kata competition not kumite. I am sure she is asgood in kata and in kumite. She can not perform those executions if she do not have real skill in punching and kicking. she has good coordination. There are people who do not compete in kumite but very good in actual fight as what they do is already self defense. Baka hindi ka rin magaling sa kumite.

I started my own Japanese Karate Gensei-Ryu when I was a pre-teenager. We always had awesome Ki-ai. This Japanese girl reminds me of how I always teach my daughter to yell in her Ki-Ai and Ki-Hap. Even in Chinese Nan-Quan ( Southern Fist style ) nowadays, this kind of martial arts energy yell is also considered excellent. This is a universally good yell.
