  • Wahts the name of the song during 2:12

  • @king5940 Sandstrom - Darude

  • how to Do the Same With Xmas Light Now That Would Be Kool Hit me up if you know How

  • DO NOT USE YOUR AMPLIFIER USE AN ADAPTOR PLEASE

  • You can use voltage regulator so you can use any kind of leds and it does not fuck ur amplifier -.-

i did this when i was 12 and stupid like u.

    idk its not good idea.

  • @TechLaine Or you could just use a potentionmeter and reduce the voltage with variable resistance. Also allows for variable sensitivity.

  • im a novice<would this work with Christmas lights

  • lol at 2:23 when the music went quiet. Oooooppppps!!!! I think the speakers just blew. lol

  • will my amp fried if i use a 1.5v led??

  • not function

  • hey everyone i have a question i have homemade speakers and i tried to connect led to it but the lights were not lighting up or i have altec lansing speakers with woofers pls help me

  • @Mohanmig Those LEDs require too much voltage OR they are blown, try to find 12 volts instead of 30 or 40

  • For me dont work whay?

  • Name of song :D

  • @Diogenis38 Darude - Sandstorm

  • Why didn`t just the led`s blew up......the speaker has a power supply of atleaset a 100V....?

  • @parasharmrinal lol no.

  • thanx dude .. that was really helpfull for me ..

i used my pc fan (12v) that contains three difreint colored leds

and i used my pc cam that contains 4 whit leds

for cam i had to cut the usb cable and get out the red and black tiny wires

and im planing to use that method in my car

    btw. Really Cool

  • can you do this with neon lights to a home stereo?

  • the leds get hot

  • @amtriplekkk because LEDs are not meant to be hooked up this way for many reasons

  • thios dint work with me

why not i tried led and normal 12v grain of rice bulbs

  • Looks unsafe

  • nice, i like it, ill try it when i can find xtra led. s it it possible to connect d led in a series connection? let say 3 leds in every channel or speakers?

    butchgsimolde@yahoo.com from cebu, phil

  • @butchgsimolde if you connect them in series the voltage divides across all three so they'll be a little dim, if you connect in parallel it'll draw more current. Either way I wouldn't suggest doing something like this as it might burn up something important after a while

  • song= Darude-Sandstorm!

  • @Theroliks thanks for naming that song....iv been looking for that song for a while..now to go look up some more songs i usto bump before, which i do not know the names of.. lol

  • anybody know the name of the song at 2:08

  • hahahaha veryy cool man

  • what is the music called

  • @game3101010 Sandstorm I believe is the title of the song.

  • If you do this correctly it will not damage your sound system.

  • dude get a resistor and hook it up to the sub and put the light in it, it looks cooler and performs better, ive integrated mine to my whole stereo..if you guys wanna see check it out on my videos, but i still gotta upload in a lil bit

  • @Briansantiago11 eyy jsut wondering as to if you could bring out a tutorial on how you did that? Im planning on having an entire table that lights up to the bass of a song, so i need a 3rd party power source.

  • @azzafrrr well its pretty simple, you will need LEDs (the basic bulbs) and they have to have the resistor included, which is the power resistor that prevents the bulb from blowing. now you will need to learn how to set up an LED circuit which is very simple, look it up on youtube if you prefer, then as easy as that, hard wire the led (with resistor in between) to the wire that goes in to the sub speaker, i have a powered subwoofer, any works fine.resistors help!!! i will have a tutorial soon.

  • @Briansantiago11 alright. Now i've of course looked into it a bit over time. One is there a way for me to make it that the lights brightness does not depend on the volume of the speaker? Or does a resistor do this regardless?

  • @azzafrrr they should work just fine, the resistors only regulate the power from blowing the bulb, while the power from the sub powering the bulb varies in different strengths thus making the bulb flash to the thump or beat!

  • what if my speaker wire is fix to the speaker not like yours . how do i connect it? still the same? black goto black? red n red?

  • fake/gay

  • how did you do that, when i did it the LED stole all the power from the speakers, so i can only have speakers or LED not both

  • you have to turn it up really loud for it to flash

  • @DTBiker24 louder it is brighter the flash

  • i put thos at all my keys in my keyboard :o

    4 houre work

Now there not glowing organge but red disco xD

  • well first of all, he didnt ground the LEDs properly. amp>power wire>LED power wire>LED>LED ground wire>speaker power port>speaker>speaker ground port> speaker ground wire> amp ground port.

  • @tylerfb11 Huh??? I had a headache after reading your comment...

  • @Aleksandar998 its the flow of the current...from the amp -> speak power wire -> LED pwr wire -> LED then it flows backwards LED -> LED grounding wire -> speaker ground wire -> grounding port

  • @carrionpvp Ammm... ok nowe i think i understand...

  • name of the song please :D

  • @g30rge93 sandstorm

  • Thank you sooooooooooo much for this video. I've searched all over YouTube to find this out!

  • you need zener diod before led, then your leds leave forever.

  • how do i no witch resistors to get for my led

  • @3199marcus try google for resistors caluator

  • The LEDs shown in the video have built in resistors. If you use a standard led you will need to attach a seprate resistor. If not your 12 volts of wall power will fry your 3 volt rated led.

  • pls use resistor but anyway remain an horrible project

  • use a resister so it doesnt fry the leds

  • this is a BAD idea! LED NEEDS current limiting resistors so they don't get fried! and if you do it like in this video, you gonna fry the LEDs after a while so they get shorted out...and that means you fry your amp!!

  • @sk7ca So how can I do it safely? Can I just hook a fuse into the system somewhere? If so where and how many amps? Thanks :)

  • do leds come in bigger sizes than that?

  • use a fuse

  • is there a way i can only make them beat with the bass not the singing ? thanks in advance

  • @twista3991

hook them up to the woofer :)

  • Will this work if i use surroundsound setup? i want to have a seperate light for each of the 5 speakers i have in my setup. And whats the suggested bulb to use? The L.E.D's shown in the video seem to "small" as i want to increase the size.

  • Sandstorm- darude

  • wat is the name of the song u played with the speakers and the lights???

  • Connect it to the subwoofer (Y)

  • one thing you need to be sure before doing this.....is!!!!very important!!!!!!!

make sure that if you are using LED for your car they are only for 12Vlots...and for a computer like this video they have to be 110Volts LED's not all LED's are the same so just make sure it says that....... maybe thats why they blew on you my friend.....and when they blow they fry the amp and then the speakers.....

  • if you dont have an equalizer...or just dont know the limit of your sound system you will fuck them up....but the lights dont do any change to the sound system....i have had my system with led light all over....like for 3 years and ive blast my speakers and they still there...so is not true....you can still put led light ....

  • This is a bad idea... You'll pretty much just fuck up your sound system, the lights, or both.

  • lol ive done that b4 and it was awsome i wonder if u can do multiple lights? (i was too afraid to do it lol)

  • this is actually a old ass idea, type in BOOMBOX and you'll see. its a dynasty DISCOLIGHT boombox

  • nice!!!!!

  • im doing that for sure

  • christmas lights will work i have blue and red ones hooked up to my stereo in my room.

  • what song is this i fuken heard it before but i cant remember the song

  • darude - sandstorm

  • you need to add resistors and transistor to it...even capacitors do a good job but resistors are must ...use a multi meter to check out ur speaker outputs and use a fuse...i have done it using 12v bulb to my 5.1 speaker system and it works awesome...

  • correct allways use resistors when using leds so they dont blow

  • put a small 12v car neon to my amplifier's bass channel and the neon just blew out

  • it's neon not led. I don't belive there is a dim feature on neons.

  • I don't know how your comment relates to mine at all but I think its possible to find neons with a dim switch or you can make your own.

  • I thought neons were like florecents and they couldn't din or turn on and off really fast and thats why they blew.(or your amp was pushing too much power throught them)

  • yeah neons can dim but my amplifier is 1000 watts this light is 12v and i was putting like 500w on this poor little neon and it blew up. time for a new one

  • Comment removed

  • make your own then

  • and it doesnt show what size LED to use anyways

  • wonder if christmas lights will work??

  • It depends on how much output the power has.. Since it is only LEDs, most likely it wouldt work with christmas lights..

  • what song?

  • Aquagen vs.Warp Brothers - Phatt Bass

    and

    Sandstorm Darude

  • DO NOT DO THIS. I fried my amp doing this. And My light blew.

  • Dont use 40 volt Bulbs then XD

  • @xxjr963xx hey i trun my sony 530rms and i did the same but it is revrese to not fry

  • @xxjr963xx your all shit cunt

  • @xxjr963xx boooooooooooom !!!

  • @xxjr963xx LEDs only use around 3 volts dumbass follow directions

  • @tjwaldemar One. The comment was posted a year ago so why the fuck are you still commenting on it goofy ass bitch. Two. My amp was smoking just because it wanted to. And Three. What directions are there to follow since you know everything?

  • @xxjr963xx thats why you use resistors

  • @xxjr963xx no resistors, i learned the hard way too

  • @xxjr963xx hey brah its called diodes and resistors shoulda looked into it more before you let him try it would of saved you my van lights up to whatever light i want to flash all you have to do to make it work properly is get resistors and diodes to keep from over loading your return channel and youll be fine and do not crank it up loud thats just asking to blow your shit

  • @xxjr963xx Make sure to use 12 volt LEDs, thats mostly the amount of voltage that amplifiers output

  • I think this is the worst real suggestion I've ever seen. Judging by some of the comments, I am inclined to believe that some people have actually tried this.

  • good but the led will suck up the power so u wont have as much base with the speakers but good try it may work good at the beginning but it will burn up ur board in the speakers

  • well dugh dats obvious it would work

  • if u do this you will lose some of the power that the speaker puts out trust me i know this trick i did it so many times but it's not worth it

  • How many volts are the lights on??? Won't they burn out quickly???

  • what is the sound you use to test and where can i get some led??

  • pls reply i have usb stereos no like yours

  • is the led lights 12 v?

  • can i use this principal with my hi-fi sterio speakers and a 100v bulb?

  • do u need a resitior to do this?

  • uber cool

  • It's Darude-Sandstorm.

  • What the name of the music when you test in the end ??

  • darude - sandstorm
