If really examined, both Laos & Thailand received its culture and style from Cambodia. Lao and Thai kingdoms weren't even established until after Cambodian kingdoms were already present and influential. Central Thai culture and food is much different from Laos.Looking closer, central thailand doesn't like to maw lum and stick rice like Lao does
