continued...(let it flow around not out..but never flick the wrist this will result in a "snap hook")I know you were a 5 in the vid but what are you now?
First do you have a handicap and if yes what is it? Next, your stance is a little tight at the start which will keep you off balance at the start. usually i would reccommend shoulder width but you can add an inch or too. Then i will ask you to relax your back swing....it is too mechanical. Think of an imaginary line going up your back swing and try to go down the same line all through your downswing and have a clean release
k a strong grip makes the ball either thing. You wont be able to hav control of the club face tthe grips fine its my take back and I hav a natural cut at the ball but yyou wudnt be able to see it much from the cam view. Iono if i shud try and fix it or play a slight fade like nicklaus
You're swings not bad at all!! You're setup is solid. Try keeping that right foot from swaying on the backswing, you'll dramatically increase your ball striking. Subscribe to my site, I'll be posting tips up shortly.
Mumbo jumbo, learn from the golf ball, if its going straight your on track! we all like to make things complicated, keep it simple, learn from the ball flight, make adjustments based on that, forget about what your supposed to do, if the balls going straight, dont change a thing!!
Listen to ricko1224, he's got it right. If you look at your right hand, the "V" is pointing over your left shoulder. You need to get it over to the right shoulder by strengthening your right hand. The position you are in is keeping you from being able to properly rotate your arms through the swing. Also, your left hip slides back too much. Watch front views of Luke Donald for example.
at adress your wrist are concaved and they should be behind the ball because wrist lag adds distance to tee shots and your finnish should be higher and you need to clear your hips better
Well Wide to Narrow on the back swing. By the looks of how quick the club head is moving, you do not appear to need the extra lag. That extra narrowness, most of the time, will cause a slight to medium knee slide resulting in, what you said, a fade, or a flip and hook. Other than that, you are 15 and have the whole summer to get things where you want it.
hey pretty tidy swing,so well done on that.you cant listen to some of these guys they haven't got a clue. One saying about turn when your turn is big anyway, past 90 and another even saying to change driver to sort out your slice. things look pretty good but i would just like to see you strengthen your grip a tad with your right hand, i think that will have you hitting it much straighter. also any chance of seeing a down the line shot. that would be helpful.
Two simple yet hard to change things. In your swing there is little hip turn. And, there is little shoulder turn causing less power. At halfway through your backswing really extend your arms as to hand the club to someone far away. You don't exacly have to go to a pro, but ask somebody who knows, how to make a correct hip and shoulder turn. (And the video makes it seem like you need a stiffer shaft.)
For what it's worth, shorten your back swing and that will prevent your standing up/excess head move at the top of your current swing. As I tell my son who just turned 5 and can hit his driver 80 yards consistently, use your chin as a landmark and swing from shoulder to shoulder and watch your ball get hit. Look at JB Holmes and Aaron Baddeley; short back sings and they hit it a ton!
Learn to keep the gap between your elbows more constant. stick a bottle between your forearms and swing, and you will get the idea. post a down the line view too and we will be able to see other key components...
your swing lookds pretty good, but the only thing i can see is that you are a bit quick at the transition(up at the top of the backswing). Try pausing a little bit more before starting your down swing. i think a reason why you have a giant fade is that your shaft is way too whippy for your swing speed. Consider getting the Nike SuMo2 driver. Its absolutely awesome. i switched to it from a Cobra f speed, no regrets.
Only thing I could see was that you stand up a bit too straight. Stick your bum out more and have a straight back or even concave back to allow more shoulder rotation.I got a French teacher - So basically I got a French/American swing which works great
Really unleash at start of downswing towards the GROUND and then as you get near ball, the club naturally hits it - obviously do not try and take a divot out 1 yard before ball!!
yea about ther...my biggest trouble is having a giant fade- i tried to blast my driver too much and start to get a habit of turning my left shoulder instead of lifting it up keeping the club straight. in the clip i keep it rather straight

Right hand looks weak... can't tell about the left.
You have a slight reverse, due to keeping your head too stationary. The head has no function in the swing, it onlu goes where the body takes it.
I like the softness in your arms, especially the left arm (slight bend at address; natural).

it looks petty solid but not easy to tell from this angle, your grip seems a little weak though. Do you tend to miss to the right? practice and enjoy

Most pros actually restrict there hip turn. That actually will help build speed through resistance.
