@ArTiisTik760 Read it again. The dirt is pushed in and has to be corrected to prevent further damage from the lawn mower or risk of ankle sprains to people walking there.
@CptSchmidt No - I can't image many folks in the midwest mow in december. But at the same time, the gournd isn't going to fix itself so the rut will still be there in the spring. I can't seed it now, won't grow, too cold.
Still, I have to go out there and fix it. That's half an hour of my time. You don't just throw dirt on it becuse the ground below it is compacted now and it affects the roots. You have to lift the ground back up with a garden fork, and get it all level.
@nialljamesbuckley You're right. I shouldn't have expected much from the video. However, in the time it takes to post this video, Scruit could have easily filled in the rut with some dirt and seeded it. Problem solved. You can't fix a monitor which has been thrown over a fence. I hope reading this has wasted some of your time. Have a nice day. =)
@nialljamesbuckley Hah, thanks for that interesting comment. Yes I do have grass next to my driveway and yes I and relatives rather frequent the grassy area with vehicles. Not only am I a home owner but a business owner aswell, so maybe this isnt as clear cut as you think?
That was'nt nice! There is a lot of space to roll around on without beeing on the grass. I guess you put some hours into that grass, and house, and then its not cool when this happends..
Its grass, does it matter? It'll grow back in a few weeks, I could understand if the hit something by honestly does it matter in the great world of things going on?
@Cyclingbikingtrucker The ground was wet so it's pushed down in a rut. If I drive over it with the law tractor then it could cause a tire to drop and make the blades scalp the sod near the edges. Someone walking across there could roll an ankle, especially if the grass is tall again and hides it. Imagine stepping on the edge of a 4" drop with just the inside of your foot.
Not the end of the world, which is why I didn't complain. Just venting. If his majesty will grant me leave...
You honestly should not complain. UPS backed into my basketball hoop and destroyed the entire thing. And you're complaining that this small thing put 2 tires on your lawn. wow.
Do they not know how to do a 3-point turn? Just pull up to the cement slab, back into the spot next to UPS guy, and then pull forward to exit. Simple, easy, and rut-free.
Oh no, your life is ruined now.

I don't know why the usps guy did that? But why were ups and usps both there at the same time? I'm kind of suspicious!

@BittenMitten So you're saying I shouldn't complain because of something that happened to you that couldn't possibly have known about?

@Cyclingbikingtrucker Clearly you're not a home-owner.
