Heading up there this summer at some point. Nice place to visit then but I wouldn't want to live there, the winters are probably brutal and I'm guessing there's not a lot of work there. Nice video though, hope you enjoyed the hike from London to there and back.
wtf, why is it so terrible? It's awesome there may not be a lot to do but its surrounded by lakes and trails and nature and if you're not into the big city scene like me then its an awesome place to grow up. According to your channel you're only 17.....so i guess i won't hold it against you because you're from the generation that never stops complaining
ive been here since september, and literally there is absolutely nothing to do, EVER, except go to tim hortons...so where did you here that my generation is the generation that never stops complaining, i'd really love to see it
I'm only 5 yrs older than you and i heard it because anyone your age always complains about everything. Try going outside, go fishing, go take a crazy carpet down hospital hill, backyard bonfire, there's plenty to do. Regardless of what you say that's my hometown and i'll always go back
Congratulations, you fellows did very well this year. My inlaws live in Sturgeon Falls and attend the Junior A games in North Bay. My father in law said that you had a great team.
I'm sorry that you didn't enjoy your time in Elliot, I would imagine that with your training schedule you wouldn't have much time to take advantage of disappearing into the bush for a few days.
@lesterclaypool1 thanks!! but i enjoyed my stay a lot!!! just way to small of a town for me haha. and yeah we had a really good team, just couldnt pull off the win...
For what it's worth: My father in law, who played farm league NHL in the late 50's early 60's and coached Junior A and B for many years, says that your team were one of only two professional teams playing in your league this season. My father in law considers sportsmanship and skill to be more important than a win and according to him your team had both. This is very admirable and something that all of the young men on your team should be very proud of. Forget "the win".
you my friend are sooo soooo soooo soooo soooo damn lucky to be passing where i used 2 live! I WISH i was there visiting man it upsets me sometimes, I Lived in the New Subdivision at 1:33 the rocks on your right i played on when they were icey as fresh water runs over them. Lemme know when you head out there again
Yes, there WERE two Tim Hortons in Elliot Lake, an original one in the mall and one at the current location along HWY108...the mall location closed a year or two ago. The streets in the downtown core are named after all of the provinces, NOT just the Western ones (Maritimes, QC, ON, MB, SK, AB, BC, minus NWT, YK and NT).
Get your facts straight before you try to correct people and try doing it a little more tactfully.
Good comments, bowlestrek...especially that last one :)
Point 1) I did this while driving through, shoot me for concentrating on driving and misreading a sign. Point 2) There was a second Tim Hortons near (or in) the mall, a small one, it closed, people I know there complained about it. Point 3) Didn't focus on street names but I think the streets named after former PMs are more significant. Point 4) I said retirement community, and no Elliot Lake is no longer a centre for mining Point 5) Your profile says you're 36, it's time you learn manners

I removed my comments because in the first place I didnt think that it would be posted on a wall I thought it would just send an email to the poster, I do not spend alot of time on Youtube so I dont know the workings all that well... I sure didnt mean any comments to be rude in anyway. Sorry you misunderstood me.
Sorry to have misunderstood you. I don't normally post on videos either, it was just that the comments seemed a little rude...it's nice to see that you didn't mean it to sound so abrupt.
