First heard this song at the millennium street party in Glasgow, slam dropped this and the crowd as like some kind of apocalyptic scene.

Thousands of Glaswegians partying, drug taking, drinking, climbing on lamp posts, kissing, probably some shagging and the odd fight breaking out.

I never asked anyone the name of the tune, but soon as I heard it in a record shop a few weeks later, I knew what it was.

Dj Rolando is truly an inspiration. I love the simplicity and originality of the video. I like how it fuses the old Mexican and other "latin" cultures of the US in one. I also like how their is a true sense of unity among different races. No language, no vocals, just pure magic. None of that make up electronic bs. Truly mexican trance and a great representation of underground resistance.

Actually, as far as techno videos and even music videos in general this is one of the more honest, interesting, and beautiful videos that has been made. It's simple, and maybe in its simplicity some people are lost, because their pretense isn't being played up to, but techno is about soul, and community, and dancing. Three things this video pegged squarely.

Just because you're not willing to accept the context that is being provided, doesn't mean it isn't there. In fact, if you know anything about Underground Resistance, what they stand for, who they are, where they come from, you'll know that the video is almost entirely context. The bouncing cars, and naff(whatever that means) posturing are pretty much what the music is about, the people, the dancing, the tricked out bikes. The video and music are cut from the same cloth

I guess videos are always gonna be a difficult visualisation of what you had in your imagination and this piece of music is still so stirring you can't help but have a few set ideas about the way it comes through visually for you. It takes your expectations and readjusts them to show you something about where the artist comes from and shares some of where the track comes from. My first reaction was, "ahhh this looks cheap". But by the time it was over I saw how rich it really is. My set ideas were disturbed. To me that's awesome. And hopefully now you can watch it with a new set of eyes.
