Elle, the honey butta i got is a completely different texture to the one you have. Maybe i have an older formulation? i will post a video on it tomorrow, you'll see what i mean. It is quite runny, like a lotion, not really a butter at all. I was a bit disappointed cos i wanted the one you showed here, thought that might keep my hair well moisturised. The one i have did keep my hair soft and hydrated, but wanted a thicker product.
@denimpixie yeah, i just wrote to the lady at British Curlies where i order products, asking her if there are 2 formulations of this butta, cos my packaging is different to yours (mine is in this white-ish packaging, much like my banana deep fix from last year, the deep fix i have now is in the blue packaging). i went onto Marsha's site and they don't mention a different formulation, so i am a bit confused, and disappointed, might email her. :)
@louloumatou I know that she changed the packaging, but not the formulation of the product as far as I know. I would email Marsha with pictures of it, she knows how it is supposed to look, just so she is aware. Does British Curlies have a good return policy?
@denimpixie you know the return policies on hair products here is quasi nonexistent! it's not like in the US at all. but i'll see what Keisha from British Curlies says when she responds, if i am not satisfied, i'll email Marsha. I am going to put up that video now so she will be able to see the consistency i am talking about, it's quite runny and even nearly spilled on my laptop when i was trying to show it to the webcam. thanks for responding!
@denimpixie I've heard a lot of people say that about certain things...that it has too much protein, isn't that a good thing though?.....IDK...I'll just google it! LOL!! (I'm a bit addicted to googling everything)
@dovelove84 It depends on your texture - if you have fine hair, protein is usually better because the hair gets easily over moisturized and limp. But my hair is med/coarse, so too much protein will make my hair brittle, hard, and dry. I NEVER do straight up protein treatments - my hair is "tough" enough, lol!
Hi Elle. Did you apply it to soaking wet, damp, or dry hair? Also, how did you apply it (scrunch, shingle, section by section, etc.)? I'm just curious if you'd try it again to see if there's a difference in how long it takes to absorb. Thanks for the review. I've been wanting to try this for a while.

@dovelove84 No, I prefer the Rehab because it does not have protein.
