I've fallen off the radar with your reviews recently, but I do like this new style of yours, like a repressed rage kind of thing. As for Rise 2, well, you tempted me to try Rise 1, I guess Rise 2 isn't going to kill me. xD
I kinda don't blame you for the lack of energy in this review, seeing that I really couldn't believe that Rise of the Robots got a friggin' sequel... then again, I was lucky I didn't get either of those two games.
3:40 (Puts on Fighting game nerd hat) I think that KOF footage was taken from Mugen. I could tell by the fact that Hotaru is in there as an Assist. She was only in the console version of KOFXI and that game didn't have Assists.
@Jak00125 Technically it's from the Flames of Courage homebrew game on Wii. I was lazy and didn't want to change my setup to record KoF99 on PS3 and figured it was an OK substitute.
How dare you soil the NY Jets name! I must say sir, after Mr. Fragile a.k.a. Tom Brady choked the hell out of the superbowl a few years ago, you have no right to comment on sports.
Anyways, good to see ya back, started watching when bootkitty, urinating tree, gaming goose and that whole crowd was around
Long time fan, and I will admit I do like the running gag with the windows error screen. I would recommend considering implement this gag in future reviews. Keep up the good work.
That ending sequence where he walks towards the camera at an angle looks exactly like the infamous "Colin's Bear Animation" on YouTube :D
But the reason a sequel exists was because the original sold pretty well, over 3 million copies were sold. So mass marketing can sell any old shit to idiots :D
Nice to see you back after so long man. I see you have definitely got a bit older, but that's what age does to people I suppose, otherwise you look pretty much the same. Great review bro.
I am a happy YouTuber to see that, if such a sequel just -had- to exist, the right reviewer is here to give it the proper treatment. Thanks, Bogart! You are my hero. You're everything I wish I could be. I ca...okay, enough of that reference, it's not making sense anymore. <.<
Regarding the roster expansion..Marvel vs Capcom 2, anyone? Of course, most of them were recycled sprites, and there was way too many Street Fighters and X-Men.
Long time fan here. Good review, but where's the energy dude? You couldn't sound more monotone if you tried. Aside from that it was good.
Also; Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo was not the first game to have Super moves, it was Art of Fighting (or Samurai Shodown 2) SNK games were the first to have supers. SNK and Capcom have always had an interesting relationship.
overall this review's okay, its not as good as your original Rise of the Robots review, but I guess since this game is more of the same except somehow much worse, I guess that goes to show.
As far as the Brian May promotion they have on the game, I would assume that they wrote him a nice check so they can put his name on the game, for whatever strange reason.
Oh man, someone gave me this game in 1999 or so. I traded it in a few months after I got it and haven't even thought about it or remembered it until I saw the loading screen. It's not even comically bad, it's just boring and forgettable.

Quite a informative little review, but your tone seems to be more mellowed out than your old reviews.
Still, good stuff.

@UncleBetty32k it's been less than 4 years,
hell, I remember the juxtapositions like the GTA vigilante challenge against the Chase H.Q.theme.

@MICHAELWASHINGTON09 actually there are several reviewers out there, but reviewing has taken a back seat to Let's Plays, Cod Commentaries, etc.

there's one good thing about the ending to the game: It obliterates any chance of any sequel to ever come :)
