If my memory serves me well, released originally  on Aves Records.Robbie Vincent played it and it sold out completely by the end of that day.It then came out shortly afterwards on Chrysalis.

I LOVE you for posting this. This was my all time FAVORITE song when I was a youngin. I had the 45.. baby, I played it to death. That 45 is still at my grandmas' house to this day.

I didn't know that Linx made this song.I heard this song when i was 10 years old back in 1980 and it's still funky.
