  • "And not a single fuck was given that day." -Kez

  • The only way to play with you're sausage, while reading ABOUT sausages.

  • Good, good!

    Sausagović...

  • Comment removed

  • @MaxRideWizardLord read the tags

  • I don't get the point of this video, please explain.

  • *Pokes Kezul with a noscript.*

  • Like a BOSS.

  • Hehey, look.

    I was right.

    SUCK MY 37 INCH COCK.

  • I really hate SOPA for real now.

    May Megaupload rest in peace.

  • Pets and Animals

  • you can also use a google cache

  • love your sounds~

  • Sausage...............

  • I didn't even know about wiki doing the blackout until I enabled the scripts for the page.

  • lol

  • What I'm wondering is why you need to read about sausage...

  • My internet is too fast. I can't force stop before the overlay loads. #firstworldproblems

  • Oh gee wiz, thanks spiderman.

  • step one, dont do it on jan 18

  • Disable JavaScript

  • Or you could just press the 'x' in your browser before the page fully loads.

  • WONDERFUL sausage

  • sausage.

  • Boy, you sure showed them!

  • just hit ESC before the banner appears

  • use the app it works fine

  • IIIIIIIIIIII IIIIIIIIIII IIIIIIIIIIIIIIII.

    [comment censored by SOPA]

  • @ckay1100 you're fucking retarded

  • @ckay1100 Won't it more be like "Entire Youtube blocked by SOPA and PIPA due to single comment"? That's the impression I get.

  • Or just look at the cached version of the page?

  • @M4KU74N7R0Z It also mean "trash" in Norwegian, apparently.

  • @Souldestroy199 It does not. Online translators are not always reliable.

  • Other ways are simpler, just disable JavaScript before going on, because that's all the blackout notice is, or use the mobile version, which isn't blacking out.

  • This completely and utterly defeats the point of what sites protesting SOPA are for.

    Good going jackass.

  • @Grahckheuhl Unlike SOPA which won't be passed, ACTA has already passed in the US and countries around Europe...which is way worse than SOPA.

Wheres the blackout protest over ACTA? Hmm?

  • @S0up3rD0up3r

    Be a hero. Start something.

  • you dont even need to do that. Disable Javascript

Or you can even press esc before the banner comes up.

  • Actually, all you guys have to do is disable javascript, it even says so on the learn more page.

  • Or you could just stop the loading of the page before the sopa protest comes up :p

  • Wait a second... Sausage?

  • Or turn off Javascript. That's sort of the easiest way.

  • fuck SOPA. Ok, you don't have this problem with the german wikipedia (de*wikipedia*com) for example

  • sausage

  • You can just load the page and then hit stop right away before the black screen comes on. It's not that hard, guys.

  • Even the Wiki itself says you can bypass their blackout by disabling Javascripts of some sort, their only intention is to spread the message, and if you don't read that message and keep spreading the word, you won't be able to bypass the blackout anymore.

  • Wikipedia isn't a very good scholarly source anyways.

  • stupid american

  • Comment removed

  • type ?banner=none at the end of the url to view wikipedia without the blackout shit

  • @bcwizardful That blackout shit is going to stay there forever and ?banner=none is not gonna help if there will be more people with you attitude.

  • @bcwizardful THANK YOU... You win one internet.

  • @bcwizardful well if you ignore the black out shit, wikipedia will go away forever.

  • @oortdoug the black-out is now over

  • @bcwizardful what a good way to sopa

  • From the WP:SOPA 'about' page:

"You can also view Wikipedia normally by disabling JavaScript in your browser. Our purpose here isn't to make it completely impossible for people to read Wikipedia, and it's okay for you to circumvent the blackout. We just want to make sure you see our message."

  • what happens if i wanna scroll the page

  • 0:29

    Dat Sausage Sigh

  • Made a video response. I hope you watch it.

  • right before the pop up - press cancel button....???...profit!

  • love how they shutdown during the exams peroid of school

  • @kirbysbestfan EXACTLY. Holy shit!

  • @kirbysbestfan you do realize that wiki pages are made voluntarily?

so there is a lot of bs.

  • @kirbysbestfan IM TAKING ENGLISH AND HISTORY FINALS TODAY.

  • @kirbysbestfan Thats the best time though, it reaches to teens better

  • @kirbysbestfan

    Das da point, dumpkof.

  • @Kholdstarezero if people have a test tomorrow :p

  • @Kholdstarezero Obama said that he'll stop SOPA if it comes to his desk. He's stated this several times, all the way back in 2007 even. It's fucking annoying to see websites that are still doing things like this to raise awareness, because EVERYBODY WHO WOULD GIVE A SHIT ABOUT SOPA HAS ALREADY HEARD ABOUT IT AND DONE THEIR PART. "Need to look something up? NO, FUCK YOU, LOOK AT THIS SHIT, DUR DUR DUR, CALL YOUR SENATOR".

  • @Kholdstarezero We get the message, though are we supposed to sit there and wait until it's over if we need some information now? Fuck this shit.

  • @Kholdstarezero People get the message first time they see that blank wiki page and being unable to access Wiki info for a whole day doesn't make the point any clearer. Talking about pathetic culture and having a "holier than thou" attitude because of people finding workarounds is the stupidest thing I heard today.

  • Just press escape before the black page loads

    Or disable java

    or get a greasemonkey script

  • These websites that are shutting down are suppose to be protesting SOPA and are trying to get people to stop it.... and we should do that. Contact your local congressman, sign a petition on google, do something to stop this bill (If you not an American, tell someone you know is a American to do something).

  • Why not turn off JAVA script? Wikipedia suggested this method ;)

  • Better idea: use the Google Cahced version of the wikipedia entry when you're googling it.

  • btw WOW theres a whole lotta sausages on this page

  • It's an American law, I don't care about it then.

  • @StefanMajonez unsuccessfull troll

  • @StefanMajonez if you do not care about youtube, twitter, google, facebook, wikipedia, any blog, gaming sites, streams, forums, imageboards, filesharingsites and much more then go ahead. it will have an impact on all these in any country.

  • @Sicktremo @TheZombieOutOfHell If I get affected when I make a forum in Russia then America is a terroristic country. You can't really put a law that affects other countries without them accepting it.

But again, US has the nukes. It'd be funny if a nuclear holocaust was caused by a blogger.

  • @StefanMajonez If someone posts a LINK to a site where POTENTIALLY be copyrighted material they can per definition of the law block/shutdown the website yes. This law is international. You may not get sued or put to jail for it (even though that is possible cause they started using a law meant for terrorists on copyright infringements to get you out of Russia and put you to jail in the USA. They didnt get it through on this guys but even the try is insane.

  • @StefanMajonez

It affects the internet, so it affects the world. It's NOT just America that gets it.

  • Why not just press Escape before it blacks out?

  • Press stop before it goes black, you can read the whole page.

  • For me Wikipedia works without any problems, I can read whatever I want at anytime

  • Or you can just, press stop before it changes :\

  • @pillzhere8

    ROCKET.

    LAUNCHERS.

  • in some ways i kind of hope that SOPA does pass because i think it will be the final straw and everyone all over the world will rebel against the authoraties and governments...

  • @pillzhere8 Richard O'Dwyer is a British student who hosted a website that supplied links to copyrighted materials. The American Government is demanding that he would be extradited to America, where he would be tried and most likely serve 10 years in a maximum prison for breaking Copyright laws. The problem is what he did is not illegal in the U.K. The Government is using the Extradition Treaty of 2003, which was meant for terrorists, to have the teen sent here.

  • Sausage...

  • Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V in word document.

  • Can't wait a fucking day? Here's a handy guide! Too bad it's impractical.

  • or you can stop the page from loading before the black screen comes on.

  • At first, I thought you were going to take a screenshot of the black page, and then make it say "Imagine a world without knowledge."

  • It's ironic, because I bet that copy of Photoshop is torrented.

  • Comment removed

  • "Imagine a world without free information"

Well you're fuckin doin a good job on getting us there dickfaces!

Just what is sopa? i just saw this video, went to wikipedia and it blocked all the text, wtf is it?

  • @vuur150 It's a bill that's never going to pass, but the internet is afraid it's going to pass, and they make a big deal about it.

Just ignore it, it will go away in a few days.

  • @vuur150 They have a link about it on the blocking page. Otherwise, check out ''WTF is Sopa'' on Youtube.

  • Comment removed

  • SOPA...

As someone who naturally speaks spanish I can't stop thinking about soup.

(Sopa is spanish for soup in case you didn't know)

  • or you can use noscript addon and just read it normally...

  • Are you a wizard?

  • Its not going to fucking pass, everyone is so far fucking behind and I really needed Wikipedia for something earlier and I am fucking pissed

  • @IAMTHECAPSGODLOL Rather than being pissed about it, you should call your congressman and tell him about how you do not support the SOPA bill or the PIPA bill.

  • @DislexicMidget

Sure Ill call some idiot at the other end of the world about something that´s not going to pass

  • who the fuck is sopa i dont understand

  • @MultiNfz than google it

  • @MultiNfz SOPA is a bill they're trying to pass in the United States that lets the Attorney General (the most renowned judge in the country) black out any site they want so that nobody can get to it. They can also sue sites just for having a little bit of copyrighted content.

  • Y'know it says on their faq page you can still read it if you turn off java

  • I just stop the page from loading before it switches to the blackout screen. Works a treat.

  • now i know more about Saus-I mean SOPA

  • Press escape before it turns black :3

  • F**king smart

  • clever X)

  • Reading thru the HTML takes Skill

  • just hit stop on the browser instead of hitting print screen... seriously.

  • I love the sigh in the end xD

  • other than that...just stop the loading icon before it go blackout

  • Only source code. Only hardcore.

  • you idiots just press the stop loading button on top ffs

  • my prt scr key is too sticky to screenshot that fast

  • *drool* Sausage...

  • *clap clap clap*

  • Brilliant :o

  • Guys.

Jesus Christ. SOPA is not going to pass. If it _did_, then it would get more legislative attention and be thrown through Congress like a golden frisbee in the eyes of the supporters of the bill.

Get it through your heads; it won't pass. It's like a dead fish swimming in water; it's not going anywhere.

  • @Metroid225 Your delusions are remarkably amusing

  • @Zeugirdor994 Your lack of knowledge on the status of the bill is remarkably amusing. The NDAA already stripped you of your legal rights, they need not do more.

  • @Metroid225 I think YOUR lack of knowledge on the bill's status is amusing. And yeah, the NDAA did that indeed. And now they want to do it to free speech worldwide :L

They need not do more? You clearly don't know the American government

  • @Zeugirdor994 "I clearly don't know the American government."

I spread word of the NDAA, SOPA, I've read the text 3 times over, I've followed all news feeds, managed to get a friend of a friend of a friend who works in the Library of Congress to get news on the hearings beforehand, supported Occupy Wallstreet divisions, and I've also been a part of the Egyptian Revolution helping to end the cellular blackout along with the new AnonOps league.

    Yeah, I don't know government.

  • @Metroid225 You must be proud, despite the fact that you misunderstand what I said. Regardless, you just go along on your merry ol' high ground of arrogance.

  • @Zeugirdor994 >high ground of arrogance

    >still don't know that SOPA is dead due to laws of exposure and reaction

    >ohhowlaughable.png

Simple thought. You piss enough people off, you get opposition. You have a reputation, you give into the opposition to wreak havoc another day, continuing your shady business behind doors. It's no longer blatant tyranny; that went out recently. It's not a kick to the balls, but simply a stealthy harvesting of scrotal hairs and a strangling with them.

  • @Metroid225 its nto dead yet.

is it beyond any possible hope of passing in the future, oh god yah, but it is still in discussion and not yet technically "dead" yet

i would complain about all the people freaking out over sopa but in reality if it didnt get such a huge shitstorm then the bill probably would have passed

granted video game violence is nor protected by first ammendment so anythings possible i guess. if that did who knows maybe it wouldnt have passed then either

  • @Zeugirdor994 you smell bad and have no friends

  • @bcwizardful Oh yeah? Well you're ugly... and nobody likes you!

  • Down with SOPA.

  • ... Just disable javascript or stop loading page (its the X before the refresh button)

  • I too want to read about sausages, thanks for the work around.

  • It's shit like this that SOPA will cause. If SOPA passes, people will have to come up with workarounds to see websites that aren't actually sharing music or movies or games.

  • @Broshmosh

The "Workaround" for SOPA as it stands is entering the IP address of the site rather than it's name. The entertainment industry is attempting to muscle through censorship to "stop piracy" that doesn't even work.

  • @SALordBaxter Nice, didn't know this (the first part that is). Thanks.

  • @Broshmosh No way that SOPA passes

There is just too much resistance against it.

    And if it does...

    MASS PROTESTS INCOMING

  • @iani103 I agree, not to mention the fact that Obama is completely opposed to it, and so far at the end of the day, what he says goes.

Wha SOPA/PIPA really do is show that these methods aren't outside the thinking of government. Even though Obama is against it, who's to say that somewhere in Europe, governments aren't thinking of trying to pass the same bill? Unluckily, not every country has a piece of paper that defines freedom.

  • That's only for 24 hours, dude.

  • or you can just press the stop loading button before it hits the blackout page

  • @AndyGoldie01 This.

  • Guys, don't worry. Japanese Wikipedia is still up. We can still get our knowledge.

  • lol

  • Well in german it still works..

  • Show us your face

  • Now scroll through it.

  • So much work to read about sausage... darn it SOPA!

  • Press Esc before the black appears

  • Fuck the police

  • If you hit the stop button on your internet browser it also works.

  • Yes people, defeat the purpose of the blackout :(

  • @GRENTHSNOOB Wikipedia did it poorly.

Go to Demonoid and see how they did it.

  • It's easier to hit "Stop" (keyboard shortcut is usually Esc) before the blackout image comes up.

  • It won't pass. Fer sure.

  • Genius walrus.

  • Just click the X to make it stop from loading the page when you see the article without the block, silly.

  • 11/4

    Nice work

  • press ESC before it pops up, problem solved

  • adblock solves errything

  • @0GTXR what's the URL for the blackout so I can add it to adblock?

  • @BlueKewne never mind about adblock, it worked the first time but now it shows a blank page every time I load another page

  • 10/10

  • or you could just press the X / refresh button before it pops up

  • an informative video 10/10
