I could listen to music like this all day,everyday. Trully beautiful and emotional, just like Rick Wright would like to have it. How can I get ahold of this music from these sessions? I love the "Us and Them" piano version written for Zabriske Point also. I wish Rick got more time to to lay down his feelings in the Floyd but he sat back and let Roger and David duke it out to much. But his creativity was certainly there and without him there would be no Floyd. It isn't Pink Floyd,it's Rick Floyd.

Rick displays here the best influence a pianist can have, the Bill Evans sound. Rick himself stated he was influenced by Miles Davis' album Kind of Blue, one of the moments where Evans shines the most. Rick did a great service to music bringing this aesthetics to a larger audience, blended with his own original concept. Isn't it interesting they both passed away the same day? Bill Evans left us on September 15th, 1980. Thanks for improving my spirit from childhood with all the great music, Rick.

People Forget what a wonderful JAzz piano player rick was....He brought such great chordal structures using major and minor sevens as well as diminished chords. (unheard of in rock except by bowie beatles and yes). Rick will be sadly missed.
