Very eloquent and beautiful talk. I am not sure if the West can take it: the spiritual conquest of the East over the Western mind, though. Will be a tough call to convince Western scholarship. Watch out the East-West dichotomy! ;-)
i think the reason this is so interesting is because like weiming says, us westerners have never been exposed to anything outside the enlightenment thought. Confucianism is perhaps one of the few institutions that have survived the wave of enlightenment thought and is one of the most interesting and unique philosophies of our time
