Honestly, I use a HP Pavilion p6140f Desktop, I love it. It is good for everything. Mac.. is good for browsing and editing.. windows.. Good for editing and browsing, and more. I honestly can't see why I would pick a Mac over a windows. Plus, with windows, you get more with what you pay. Mac, you pay more for less. My entire set up for my desktop, LCD widescreen monitor, gaming keyboard, mouse, and a tournament edition macro pad.. It costed about 2500$. And I got more than what I would with a mac

Okay look, about 90 percent of the world is using Windows, about 6 percent is using a mac, and the last 4 percent is using Linux. Macs are for people that do more media stuff, like video editing and so on. BUT Windows can do it too. Plus we can acctualy run games.

Macs are good for those looking for simplicity and ease of use but the hardware is inferior for the price-tag. For example, someone bragged about being able to run Crysis on low settings on a (I'm guessing atleast $1,000) Macbook when my Asus Laptop, which I bought for $775, can pump it to high / very high settings. Mac lacks the raw power, you're paying more for software.

@MetroidJunkie2007 Macs have very good hardware, it is just that the software is not made to run games. If you are a gamer, and have any knowledge about computers at all, you would know not to buy a mac. Macs are made to be all-around good, unlike your asus laptop which is probably only made for gaming. It only has one thing that it is good at (which is why it is so cheap).

@IfmonkeysWereReal Are you even reading your own post? Software means nothing if the hardware isn't there to back it up. Even when running Windows, Macs are more expensive for the hardware than PCs. It's not a software issue, it's a 'hardware is too weak' issue.

I've actually read the specs online and they're inferior, period. Software doesn't count for much in an argument since Windows allows open sourced coding, plus my Asus is great for a variety of purposes because of downloaded software.

I do not think any software from Synium Software would work well on your Asus laptop. But not because your laptop is 'weak' or because it 'lacks power', but because Synium Software only designs programs for Mac OS X.

If you go to Apple's website, you will find that you can have your Mac specialized to fit your needs. Have you ever wondered why Mac has a control key, an option key, and a command key? Well you need control do powerful tasks on PC and Mac, but on PC it listens, on mac you have to "Command" it, and sometimes you only have an "Option"

It is very simple. I have both. When I want to play with no power I use the Mac. When I want to get real work done, I use the PC. I've worked with both for years and Windows has evolved from crap to the best in class. The problem has very much to do with the poor hardware being produced out there. You get what you pay for.

hmm... i use windows vista, but i cuztomized it n stuff so i don't have problems. I've used a Mac be4 n they're really cool n stuff. I also use my family computer which has Windows 7, and i downloaded some stuff, n it downloads fast, its secure 2. My point is, Windows is actually getting somewhere now, and Apple is running out of tricks up their sleeve... AND MY ACTUAL FUCKIN POINT, Mac or PC, they're good computers n they work well. I sold my HP tablet with Vista for a MacBook Pro. Mac has its problems too but i don't find them nearly as annoying as Windows. I don't regret my switch to Apple despite the couple of issues I've had with my Macintosh. I don't want to ever own another Windows based computer again. If I do end up with one I'm putting GEOS, Linux or something else on it.

He was right about XP and 98. But with 95 they got it wrong Windows 95 was the successor to windows 3.1. Windows 2.0 was superseded by 3.0 then 3.0 by 3.1 then 3.1 by 95.
