Now I'm sure! the guy at 2:28 is from the game called samurai showdown 3. His name is Shizumaru Hisame, and apparently his umbrella is blue, not red, as I stated before =P.

obviously, asian people are going to look much better in these representations of many of these animes because the artists who draw anime characters often draw with the so "asian" facial structure. i'm not saying a "western" cosplayer can't pull it off. just saying that people with the asian facial structure have a better chance at looking just like anime characters

I disagree. xD A lot of manga, anime artists prefer to make their characters look 'different', as in foreign, to give them a better appeal to the asian population. I'm chinese, I can't pull off looks like some caucasion people can.

not really, some characters are best cosplayed by "westerners" but i think the reason very few non-asians can pull off cosplays is because they are usually too skinny, or too fat. most of the time, fat.
