  • My name is willie Coyote and im so fuucking hungry!!!!

  • stfu why did i come to youtube to hear poetry should have known i would be greatly dissapointed by hippie college students talking about cartoons

  • This guy is a slam master, and this poem is genius. I wonder how many times he must've seen the cartoon in order to capture Wil. E. Coyote like he did. If I could write something even half the level of this I would be happy.

  • This piece is fantastic and hilarious. It's incredible how many times I've watched that coyote without ever considering his point of view, let alone where Shane takes it. Very original and well delivered.

  • MY NAME IS WILL E. COYOTE. AND I AM SO. FUCKING, HUNGRY! gets me very time XD

  • the next guy must have come up and said '....wow... so any way my poem is about mary and her lamb'

  • I freaking love you dude XD

  • Art

  • I showed this poem to my Writers craft class at my high school, and now my teacher hates me simply because Shane said "fuck" 3 times.

Oh, and the rest of the class thinks I'm crazy.

    Regardless, this piece is EPIC.

  • @friendlybacon

Fuck your class and fuck your teacher, watch this repeatedly and grow beyond all of them.

  • @Mihai092 just go home, you sad, sad little person.

  • This poem is amazing! Take a bow Shane Hawley, you deserve it! I listen to this at least once every single day.

  • Honestly you guys his breathing isn't even a big deal if you don't center all your attention around it. Obviously if that is what bothers you, or what you notice then you should just stop looking up slam poetry, or any poetry for that matter. If you pour your heart into something on stage, showing every bit of emotion you put into that piece then I'm sure you'd be gasping for air too. Most of you probably didn't even grasp the meaning behind it. So stop leaving hate and don't watch it.

  • ok i dont mean to sound rude but SHUT THE FUCK UP sll of you are talking about his breathing and you missed an amazing peice of work hell the breathing makes it FUCKING AMAZING so FUCK ALL OF U BITCHES !!! this is poetry

  • The gasping absolutely ruins this. He sounds like a dying dog.

  • Too legit to quit watching it. ~ now that's honest poetry.

  • It is the curse of an addict to chase the thing that destroys you! That was deep guy.

  • wtf is thsi shit.

  • @kaakoo some stoned dudes says thats poetry .. in nowadays fuking and screaming like a madafaka speaking about the aesthetics of uglyness , of madness and despair trough such a beautiful words in the end .. well MA Friend ( shane hawley ) 1 get a fuking life 2 get a budha sack ( weed ) 3 read some real poetry 4 write some real poetry and 5 Even lady GAGA would manage to say what you tryed to say so HARDLY

  • This is off the annoying scale.

  • His breathing ruined it.

  • I really enjoy this guy, and I'm not normally a fan of a lot of slam poetry. Thought it was cool that he would personify a character we all grew up with like this. "It is the curse of an addict to chase the thing that destroys you." Excellent.

  • Nigga needa chill

  • I like it... But honestly I just kept focusing on every time he gasped for air.

  • I AM SO FUCKING HUNGRY

    BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • Wow.

  • "It is the curse of the addict to chase the thing that destroys you..."

    Best line!

  • What is the line after "I know you are fucking with me!" I can't quite seem to catch it... Something about fight suits

  • @Brandoon296

"I am always a flight suit, or a working magnet, or a lit-wit short of supper"

  • @killhntai Lit wick*

  • @killhntai

    lit wick

  • =O jaw dropped

  • This fake fucking tunnel is the best i can do!!!

    -story of my life

  • Good stuff. Very good stuff.

  • Amazing: "it is the curse of an addict to chase the thing that destroys you"-- takes it out of comedy and into something real

  • hahah i know you are FUCKING WITH ME HAHA i love that part lol

  • POIL!!!!!

  • Poor Wiley. He's the one I always felt bad for. None of the others needed their catch to survive but him.

  • he looks like Dave Grohl (foo fighters) just sayin

  • This poem is SO good. I'm memorizing it so that i can preform it for my class.

  • saw this guy last night hes really funny and an awesome guy, haha gives good hugs

  • @Bardockcloud

    *is jealous*

  • Anybody know how to get in contact with this guy? Email or anything? I want to use this poem in a screenplay I'm writing (not professional or anything, just for a class, but it works perfectly).

  • Hipster Poetry Jam.

  • This is genius.

  • the coyote is insane. preparing kids for the insane trap they are led into

  • Got a flashback of Lowell George there. The barely controlled emotion would fit the beat...

  • pretty awesome thmbs up would of been great if you would of whistled the sound of when he falls off the cliff

  • Wile E. Coyote's traps always backfire on him and he survives. So why does he think doing these same things will kill the roadrunner?

  • Hahahahaha, freakin' awesome!

  • that didnt rhyme at all

  • @bestshamanevar Get the fuck out

  • @bestshamanevar slam poetry doesn't need to (:...a LOT of poems don't rhyme and they are still poems

  • Absolutely amazing.

  • That was awesome :D

  • His passion is great. xD

  • good thing he pulled through in the end....for the first 2 minutes i was bored out of my mind......but then he fucking pulled it out! good work!

  • seriously awesome!!!!

  • This is fantastic!!! Absolutely brilliant!!

  • He has a poem that is ONLY gasping.

  • does he do the gasping thing every poem or just for this one purposely?

  • Hi Bliz ... You couldn't have been too much further away than I was -- I was in the front row of the balcony.

  • Awesome! I posted my vid of this, too. I was just farther away.

  • Love this poem, and thought it was the hihglight of the evening -- and it actually made the winning difference for St. Paul. But to be clear, nothing was edited out of this video -- I just closed with the end of his poem. Also, to be accurate, Shane received a 10.0 from one judge -- not the entire field of judges.

  • @3minegg St. Paul had the 4 high scores of the night. The poem is amazing and I love Shane, but it wasn't the difference for the two time champs.

  • I wish that the audience's reaction hadn't been edited out. I was there at the Fitzgerald that night, and Shane was the only poet to receive a 10.0. The audience flipped out for him. We loved it...I wish those who weren't there could hear how much.
