I got one of these from the LIVE WATER surf shop in 1984 and about 5 years ago pulled it out of the closet and figured out how to use it properly..the thing to do is make it look difficult so you won't have to share it with kids,(they actually blow better bubbles without even trying!)It is one of my favorite hobbies,the best art I can make!Above the waves on at Stinson Beach,sunrise on Mt.Tam..I love my BUBBLETHING! Depends on your mass/surface ratio. If you are a heavy person, your feet will dangle out the bottom of the bubble and catch in the treetops. DS

Good question, and one I've thought about a lot since being carried away by a bubble last April. I was almost blown out to sea. However, by thinking heavy thoughts I was able to lower my altitude sufficiently that by dangling one leg out the bottom of the bubble I could drag my feet through the upcoming treetops (the way hot-air balloonists drag their basket), and popped the bubble right over a backyard swimming pool, where I managed a quite terrifying high dive into the deep end...
