Plus Lebron has been inspired by far more ballers then MJ. MJ Was original and paved the way for a lot of players. @440txi I think you're misunderstanding what vertical is all about. Say a person is 6'2'' and the other is 5' 7''. If the 6'2'' person has say, a 30 inch vertical and the 5'7'' person has a 35 inch vertical, sure the 6'2'' person will reach a higher point, but only because they're naturally taller. The 5'7'' person has more hops though.

And I seriously DOUBT LeBron can touch the top of the backboard. Lebron has a 42'' vertical, which yes, is insane. MJ, in his prime, had a 48'' vertical.

@pinajose89 u also have to take into account the extended arm length. for example my arm raised straight up reaches 99 inches in the air. i am 6 foot 2. i can touch the top of the square. i need a 39 inch vertical to do that because the top of the square is 138 inches. so u also need to check how high they can reach.
