  • Great old tune. I have the 45 of this in a box in the basement somewhere :)

  • Not Lennons version

  • Where is the brass???

  • i like this song, but i really liked 'don't make me leave you', which didnt chart. this was a great group, and like someone said, they should have had more hits.

  • THis song was written by John Lennon. No doubt a Yoko influence at work here.

  • i remember this song.. but this is the first time i heard it in STEREO.. sounds GREAT.....

  • I used to have this too - sadly went missing. Nice work with the clip - like the green light on there hehe

  • This band should have had several big hits; I started listening to the radio and buying 45s around 67/68. I was 11/12 at the time; years later I would buy the albums from the discount rack. I had 4 albums from The American Breed, I think that was all they did.

  • I was 11 years old I think.this takes me back.thanks.

  • GHreaT post. i have a copy of "step out of your mind" which shoudda kept the american breed out of the one hit wonder category.

  • Oh man.....I had this 45.....it wasnt a chart buster, but I told people that this song was legit. Nobody believed me after "Bend Me Shape Me"......well, guess I was right.

  • "Green Light" scraped the bottom of the US Top 40 in February-March 1968, peaking at #39.

  • great song

  • Excellent track.
