i like this song, but i really liked 'don't make me leave you', which didnt chart. this was a great group, and like someone said, they should have had more hits.
This band should have had several big hits; I started listening to the radio and buying 45s around 67/68. I was 11/12 at the time; years later I would buy the albums from the discount rack. I had 4 albums from The American Breed, I think that was all they did.
Oh man.....I had this 45.....it wasnt a chart buster, but I told people that this song was legit. Nobody believed me after "Bend Me Shape Me"......well, guess I was right.
Great old tune. I have the 45 of this in a box in the basement somewhere :)
