Wildebeest Migration Mara River Crossing

I saw two large herds cross in the exact same spot late June 2010! Unfortunately there were crocodiles. At first they had a problem swimming against the current but they overcame it. It was heartbreaking; I'm glad your child didn't see any of the poor wildebeests taken by the crocs. It is part of nature but it is still very difficult to see and hear.

Sensacional!! Presenciar cenas como essas deve ser incrível! E o melhor foi o ângulo filmado: de frente com os animais!! Claro que nem sempre os animais vão encontrar águas tão tranquilas assim, mas é bonito vê-los atravessando sem nenhum risco. O interessante também é que eles tinham um lugar sem pedras para atravessarem mas assim que as zebras foram para as pedras, todos as seguiram e passaram a se atirar na água pelas pedras!
