And honestly I've seen plenty of players with fair speed - Curtis Martin of the Jets, Brian Westbrook of the Eagles, etc - whose shiftiness, agility and / or all around elusiveness outshine their other qualities & don't consistently bring their teams where 22the visionary workhorse did his.

So I got the record of the season I was 1 years old off by a few, and it proves my point more, I was like 1 years old going on two and've only seen/heard that year's ('89 or whenever) record like twice in my life.

@Italian097 Yeah....What did Barry in the playoffs? CHOKE! The Lions made the playoffs in 5 of his 10 seasons....played 6 playoff games and actually BEAT the Cowboys in 91 by 21+. Barry in 6 PLayoff games had 386 yards on 91 carries and ONE td. (a 40 yarder against Dallas with 2 mins left up by 21) So on those other 90 carries he averaged 3.2 ypc. Emmitt's YPC went UP in the playoffs! 17 games, 1586 yards and 22 TDS....BOTH are NFL RECRDS!
