Too bad NEC of American flopped the US release of tghe Turbografx-16 (aka PCengine). It was a good system and if it had been successful I'm certain they could have released the PC-FX here in the States too.
The TG-16 was just very badly handled here in the US by NEC, they picked some of the most mediocre titles to bring over to the US instead of some of the interesting and innovative stuff that was very successful in Japan.
