after collecting the second sentry gun and cleared the first wave if you grab the rocket launcher, you can run over to the left and fire at the lorry full of enemies and take the lot of them out. Then run across to the bank and collect the third sentry gun.

I beat the IW time with only 2 turrets and no claymores. Lucky that the enemy predator destroyed 1 helicopter 1 BTR and lots of infantry for me

i combine this strategy with another strategy i found here on youtube. I run out of the diner when there are seven or six enemies left, and then i grab the sentry in the financial district and the one on the roof of nate's, then put them on the corners facing the diner. The other two sentries i put in the diner, and i plant about 3 claymores in the back to cover my rear. The crossfire is so deadly, literally NONE of the troops can get through. I dont know who thought of it, but it's awesome

ty for the strategy, but i prefer ak and i prefer staying behing the checkbox at the fuel station and intervention instead of thermal, another thing i do is kill the helis with the ammo i see lying around in the ground, so that way u can have rpg or at4 ammo for the final rounds :) nive vid!

Nice tactics. I’m on xbox but not impressed with youtube strategies until I found this.

Filling station Sentry survives but soldiers creep round. I had 2 behind the counter in dinner facing out at 45 degrees.

Your claymore laying, ammo run & sentry’s across the road on roof & bank (but I took it back to dinner) works well.

I went to front windows on heavy waves picks up the predator which then bombs their own guys. Not identical strategy but you helped me to see my successful strategy :-D

Thanks for the video. The first time I played on regular, it took me 27 minutes because I got stuck in the gas station with no RPG ammo and there was the BTR and the predator missile.

@XeroTricks Spec ops missions vary between people. For me putting it there always worked except once (aka the time I recorded it)

I got VERY lucky: i was on the last wave and had no rockets and i ran outside to try and find some rpg and then got nothing, ran back inside while the pred was firing on me and a predator missle hit the chopper and i won the challenge. :)

damnit 4/5 of enemies with RPGs seem to be using aimbots. their RPGs fly in a straigh line and hit my snetries or even me D:<

@orest1s94 When there seems to be a cycle of the same thing happening at around the same times over and over I try to use 'random' strategies so the next time I use my proper one the cycle is broken and something else happens instead.

Yes, although I find it too difficult and to be too much effort to go and grab it. It's not really needed anyway.

@zama59 I have the worst internet and live in Australia so matchmaking can be a problem for me at times (about 2 in every 5 games in unbearable to play) but for the most part it's pretty playable and plenty of people. The controls on a PC game will always be more smoother then a console.

You should google 'Can you run it'. There is a website which will check what hardware you have and tell you if you can run it or not. I would probably go about cleaning and optimising your computer so it will go faster.

It depends on the host really. If the host has a crap connection everyone will lag regardless of how good their net is, but it does help having a good internet connection.

I have a very weak internet connection so when I'm in a game with a lame host I suffer a lot. But most of the time its pretty good.

@MrAkashGuha I use FRAPS to record the game footage. Although FRAPS can record high quality video it does take up a lot of hard disk space so make sure you have plenty of room beforehand.

Although once you edit it in a program 10-15GB worth of footage can easily become 200MB. At this point once you've rendered your final movie just delete the original footage.

Try to replicate exactly where I place my guns, including the angle and try to be quick about it. If you do it right it's a relatively easy mission.

This tactic may also need to be tweaked slightly if you are using an 360 or PS3 but it shouldn't matter too much.

You can avoid the ammo run if you drop the empty SCAR for the AK47/M240 at the counter, there's also a second M14 next to where the sentry gun is lying on the floor at the diner. I tried your strat and it worked like a treat, I do think the sentry at the gas station got taken out around 3rd/4th wave, because the enemies flanked me and started coming through the back door.

I don't like the Iron sights for the AK or the ACOG for the M240 [except when dealing with helicopters). I didn't know about the 2nd M14 though.

Everything is easy and smooth for me as long as something random doesn't happens like the Drone taking out the BTR which didn't give me enough time to make ammo run.

On an ideal run and my previous tests I never had enemies come in through the back

Well I'm not really picky about my guns when there's 5 troopers storming the diner every 3 seconds :P I did the first try for 2 stars and won, for 3 stars (veteran) did the same but screwed myself with the semtex grenade(the flashbang replacement) that took out the sentry gun, then got overrun and shot :(

I was wondering why your strat didn't incorporate semtex nades, guess this is why :P they do work on the front door to keep the enemies away and save you the frags for later

There wasn't really a specific reason why I didn't use Semtex, I think frags go further though.

I love this level. For me, every wave as easy before the final one. Then they destroyed my sentry gun, and I got under attack by 20 skilled Russian paratroopers.

The only thing that bothers me about this mission is when I don't make it back for ammo in time and my defensive position gets swarmed, like in part 2.

those hedges seem to be bullet proof sometimes. and the m14 ebr seems like a bb gun. i used your stratagy and mixed in mine and beat it. i placed 2 turrents on top of nates. the intervention might work better in some situations

Aim for the upper chest/head area with the M14. I find it fairs much better close quarters then the intervention due to its ammo clip and ROF.

I find when I do this solo it's too hard to place the turrets anywhere else and avoid the troops, missiles and vehicles.
