this is my fav. guitar , a gibson les paul studio... its black even. if i had the choice of any guitar in the world it would be this one ...I LOVE THESE !!!

@TNkenny The TRULY sad thing is that if YOU or I want one, WE would have to special order it, AND Pay for it......................Gibson simply GAVE one to Roy.....................Of course, I CAN'T play like Roy. Ya reckon that might have

I've been a working musician for 18 years. Was talking about Benson vs. other pickers the other night when someone mentioned "Roy Clark". Had never checked him out as a musician, only knew him from foggy childhood memories on Hee-Haw..... Well hell, there are too many of us who are not familiar with his genius! Currently in my top 2 favorites, Roy has left me feeling as if I have a lot of work to do. His playing is absolutely beautiful, and his spirit shines right through!!!!!!

@spartyon1988 DON'T Kid yourself. Roy has won MANY awards. To include
the coveted CMA Entertainer of the Year Trophy. I believe he may have won it 2 Yrs in a row. Also, he has been inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.......of course. One WOULD NOT be aware of these things if one was CONSTANTLY tuned into that Headbangin stuff....

@spartyon1988 / What!!! how old are you? He was on EVERY tv show in the 70`s and toured the world at the same time and was on heehaw and many guest spots on national tv. OMG i`ve become a redneck?
