5th june, gonna be awesome. Star ocean: till the end of time was one of my favourite rpgs ever and was very memorable and the combat is just awesome. Hope this one is just as good and now with achievments :) strategy guide is a must have for this game.

hbuffon, that's makes about no sense. It retains the same fighting style as all the others before it. Open style battle, with strategy elements that can be thrown in, and you can switch to any character at any time in battle. The only FF that is similar to is FF XII, but Star Ocean had claim to that style of battle waaaaay before FF XII.

I love Star Ocean but like a few years ago I bought both Tales of Symphonia and Star Ocean 3 at the same time and played them both at the same time. Tales was more fun and far more interesting in story and the animation was bad ass and fast pace. Now Im looking at the same two games years later and Tales of Symphonia 2 is just bad ass, Star Ocean looks nice but looks like a Final Fantasy 12 upgrade.

While frankly i've been more familiar with Sony than Microsoft, i think it's great that Square is pushing the envelope here but look at this (i know i know) For one, games that do not make it into other systems the first time tend to be released in other platforms with NEW features. While some games don't have any new features after being ported to a different system, it get's release right?  Plus, if Square makes a lot of money out of this, they will have funds for the next new game!

Not all surprising this Game is coming out on the 360. Japan bought into the 360 franchise and they need more titles in order to make their money. (since xbox isn't that popular over there) It started with Blue Dragon and now SoS:4. It's a bit more of a smart move for the Japanese Xbox franchise more then it is in America. So kudos to them.

Anyway, I don't own an Xbox but I can't wait for the release of this game. ^^

You're right but how many Japanese fan gamers have an XBox. Smart move but not so smart. Smart that it looks mmo'ish to attract those type of gamers but they're looking at a new audiance. Especailly since most where looking forward to it on PS3 since the game has most of it's previewous titles on Playstation. They're probably following Tomonobu Itagaki but if so what they don't realize is DOA and Ninja Gaiden are fighting action.
