@SKpivot No idea, but I think there is a giant hole in their storywriting. Shendu was destroyed in the first series. Revived in the second series as a spirit, went to the book of ages, changed history... Ah. I think there, his statue form was never destroyed. So he resides inside it again.. no wait. He was banished to the demon realm, again. Doesnt make sense to me. Who cares? He's back and the story continues :)

i assume it did not air in season one due to the fact that the continuity of the plot would have been utterly destroyed. Captain Black saw magic being cast in this episode, and would have had to believe Jackie from then on about the Talismans, so they aired it in season two either because of writers block, or because they thought that it was a part of the story worth telling despite its flaws
