Ive got a 1GB Factory OC'D 4870 from HIS. The stuttering issue for my only happend during driving. It was random. I found changing it to DX9 solved the problem.

ME TOO!!! WTF i thought it only happend to me. it does it on my 4850 and then my 4890! but yeah only in DX10 mode. It get more frames but it goes all shuttery

That's cool! Im gonna buy a new system similair to yours only with other ram memory!! But what do you think is faster?? The 2 4890's in crossfire or 2 275 gtx's in sli???

it will be very similar ^^

in some games the 275's will be better but then again in other games the 4890's will be better so it's up to you :)

if you want to go the gtx 275 dual sli, you may as well go with the gtx 295 which is just that but will take up only one pci-e slot

For your next upgrade, you should get a western digital velociraptor hard drive or an ssd.

I'm using 2 150gb velociraptors in raid 0 and my load time are definitely faster for this game.
