man, I've been looking for this collectionable and awesome tune for years, it was extremely difficult to find, but I finally found it here just now. thanks for sharing!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)
sad that this hottest song doesn't have its respective video. just wondering.....it was maybe, a subestimated track for Neil Tennant???
The lost mix ?? It is the same version that is on the Opportunities 12 inch B side.. And the pre release version of Opportunities had In the Night as it's B side. This version is also on Alternative.
Man, haven't had my record player hooked up in a while. This was one of my favorite 45's as a kid. I bought it for Opportunities, but of course the B side was even better!
The fuckers had soo much styal, one total opposite to the other Street/Suit & Tie, & up till 1990 ther beats were soo aggressive! since the 80's music is back in they should make a retro album! hence a was abit annoyed with YES!
Lush, it was on the "Opportunities" maxi single, so it was never released on it's own. I am U.S. born, and never been out of the country. I don't often agree with what other Americans consider great music. Lately, though, I've enjoyed Lady Gaga, the Black Eyed Peas, etc. I saw PSB live in San Francisco in 1992, I was within 10 feet of Neil. Awesome! Their female dancers wore very skimpy outfits. Being straight, that made it all the more exciting What a great night!
a suggest....Hey Neil ....why don't try to re-edit this track such as a single and include in your next album at studio?.... i want to guess that probably could be/entry at charts in USA or UK.......and kick ass to those all crap music nowadays,
I want to hear this awesome but forgotten track in a video!!!!....and the drums cut out at 2:34-2:37 into the song reminds me to Domino Dancing for me... please hear that part! peace.
I think this song is quite beautiful, particularly the rather amazing chord change when the drums cut out at 2:34 into the song. I think what Neil and Chris probably don't love are the 'orchestral hits' - they do make the track sound kind of dated, but it's still a beautiful melody.
This is one of my favorite PSB songs...even if Neil dosen't like it. It has an Art Of Noise intro, and Neil sounds drunk. Spectacular..but this is the usual mix..not lost.
Yes this is one of the under-rated PSB tracks. I often wonder why it was never made a single, wth some remixes by other DJ's. However, it was in the top 10 on the Hong Kong dance chart, of which 2 weeks at number one. December 1986 if memory serves. And yes, very Euro, that's why I dug it at the time, and I still dig it!
i love this track and find it as one of a wonderful erie early euro-disco italo track ...back in the days of dancing in the shadows to great robotic erie tracks.
Apparently you cannot read between the obvious line, so I will just explain to you that if you cannot appreciate a particular art form of music, then go elsewhere with your attitude and comments. Have a wonderful day.
I don´t said that i don´t like Pet Shop Boys,i listen them since my childhood, also i said the beginnning of this song sounds like radio ga ga. That´s all. Have a great week!!!

it was a pity that this underestimated but amazing track don't have it respectible video. however, thanxs for the upload. PSB rules with all their song!
I do see hints of this song in Kanye West's 'Flashing Lights'...but maybe it's just me ; )

Friends, I was looking for this song 25 years ago. Since a time that I heard on the radio in 1986.
Never could buy, because in Brazil was not released at that time.
Glad to hear it again.
Thanks

2. What Have I done to Deserve This
3. It's A Sin
4. Was That Was Is Was
5. Always On My Mind...
these are my fav tunes of a Legendary Duo from 80's decade...probably the best to another males Duo like TFF and OMD in my opinion

this song is amazing, but curiously, Neil Tennant (PSB singer) says it's one of their worst songs!!
